Thank you so much to all the contributors, as the wife of a man with Lewy Bodies it really is so helpful to hear the experiences of others and know that my husband isn’t a one off, lots of people are going through similar things. I think the fluctuations are one of the more baffling parts of the illness for carers, as you can be talking to someone who is relatively rational and can carry out a task on his own and within five minutes is suddenly incapable of either and I know I have had occasions where I’ve wondered if he is deliberately being difficult, just to make a point, but now I realise it’s all part and parcel of the disease…
