Ep 7. Sailing Soraya - Surfs Up at Double Island Point, Our First Passage North

We cross the Mooloolaba Sandbar and sail through some confused seas, to arrive back at the beautiful Double Island Point Lagoon on the Queensland Coast. The lagoon had changed since our last visit.. but it was still deep enough for us to anchor in, and this time the surf was up!

@@sailingsoraya we are a small Powercat called 'Heave Ho' Heading for the Whitsundays. We'll try and head north via the swains but if the window isn't good enough we'll head along the coast. At least you should have plenty of nice fresh fish in Island Head!!
