So glad to see you back, but absolutely understand your taking time out over the last while. You were very wise to take the time you needed. It’s wonderful how the process of crafting can be a balm for the soul.

Hello Karen, so lovely to see you again. I didn’t give a thought to the awful events of the summer and how that may have affected your family, honestly zero explanation needed, we all need time to recover and process at times especially when tragedy visits us. I hope that god has helped aid your healing time. Love you you and your family. ❤

It is good to see you! You are understandably shaken by what occurred so close to you. We always think "nothing like that could happen here" and when it does, a bit of innocence is ripped from us and we look at everything differently. I am glad your family, church, and community are healing together as you try to make sense of something for which there is no good answer. Prayers for all❤

As I was aware you lived in the area of Southport I thought, when you went off grid it would be to do with the terrible events that unfolded. I'm heavily involved as a leader in a Scout group and the events made me do a double take about our safety and safeguarding as these days it is a heavy responsibility being involved with other people's children. I'm so glad to see you back xx

Nice to see you Karen. It was a truly shocking event in Stockport, no explanations necessary when you need to take a break. All your blankets are so lovely. Hope you have a good time at Yarndale, look forward to seeing your purchases xxxxx

Lovely to see you back and hear that you and all your family are ok. My geography is terrible and so I didn't realise how close you were to that terrible event. That knitted shawl is stunning. It is really pretty and your knitting is gorgeous. Hope you and yoyr daughter have a fantastic time at Yarndale x

For Freddie, there's a stephen hawking children's book series that he wrote with his daughter that might be worth reading to him. It was very good and have read it to my space mad son at a similar age as part of home ed

Good to see you again. Yes it has been a very sad time in Southport. I have dome even more knitting than usual this year. We have a baby boy due in the family in February. We are a family of girls so it is such a change for me to have to think about knitting for a boy xx

Love to you and your family. I’ve missed you but am glad that you took care of yourself and those close to you. Reuben’s and Bonnie’s blankets are beautiful . My (supposedly) grown up children would love Alfie’s quilt.

I did wonder where you were. I’m glad you took the time for you and yours, it must have been hard to be so close. It was a horrendous thing to have happened and sent shockwaves through the whole country. Lots of hugs to you and your family xx
