We have slowed down a little bit and all endeavouring to explore the beautiful anchorages and walks on the West Coast.

Another great video, live pilot guides for one of the best cruising grounds in the world.. I am leaving next week, for Ullapool from Rhu.. weather looks quiet.

I am hoping to do the same trip next year with my contessa so it's great to watch your videos. Wondering how bad are the midges? And have you found it easy to find protected anchorages that are not too deep? Looks like you are having a great adventure 😊

It’s a great trip to do. Midges haven’t been much of a problem so far. A few in places but offer it is either windy or we are a bit far enough offshore. No shortage of anchorages of all shapes and sizes. Would recommend highly Clyde Cruising Club SDs and Antares charts as minimum.

What a great adventure, what's the longer term route plan when you eventually head South?

Hi Brian, sorry didn’t see this comment earlier - Stornaway was as far (further) North as we had planned. Now a mellow trip back doing the places we missed :-)
