6:05 It looks as if you are dancing together! I just loved it when Simon said he couldn't read the label and wasn't going to try on camera, in the most natural way. I have just watched a master craftsman blow so many prejudices out of the water. He has just done more for people's confidence than he will ever know! Simon, I take my hat off to you! You are the "Acorn to Arabella" of the UK! Emilia and young Patrick are real grafters, aren't they? One of the best episodes yet. I so love your good Liverpudlian humour!

Hi Nick, what a lovely comment, I never think of what we say can have an impact on people in a positive way like this, we are just brutally honest, and we are always just honest, and show you exactly who we are, there are to many people online who make themselves out to perfect, but that is not real! We are just normal people, like everyone else, we will make mistakes and f**k up just like anyone else, there is no such thing as a perfect human! We hope we can continue to help people and inspire! Xx

You have come quite a long way from your first episode on this boat, the restored parts of the boat make the unrestored parts look so much worse! But you've already tackled so many pieces I would have thought impossible to restore, and yet here you are, solid hull, solid roof, etc. Well done all around, both of you.

The boat’s looking great on video, I’ll have to take the dog to Heswall Fields over the weekend and have a nose from a distance. Great job everyone. I just have to say that Gemma and Simon are so good talking to camera, it really feels like you are chatting directly to us. It’s a skill and there are many KZbin channels who are nowhere near as good as you guys. Nice one.

I did this and I thought 3 metres away would be okay, set off the alarm! but once I was back in signal land on the bus home I apologized hehe. TBH I didn't have time to commit to another boat building channel as I'm already subscribed to a bunch. The possibility that I could actually see one in real life was too much to ignore. That and it's a right laugh here.

I've said this more than once You were so so fortunate to have gotten that boat especially finding her is such good shape yes, there were lots of stringers and frames that needed to be replaced but at least the majority of the planks look like their in amazing condition which is fantastic news. No greater couple deserves the honor of restoring this ship than you two as far as I'm concerned..So I'll say it again Congrats.

As usual great combination of video & audio! Major milestone to see underwater primer go on! Very nice to “involve” audience with “can you feel how smooth that is ?” Unfortunately Wurth is not common here in North America. Yes very nice to see wooden pallets (USA?). and green mesh to overcome mud and keep ground clean! Only concern I have is ear protection for younger workers- you all are younger than I am!

Hello friends, I don't really understand your work, you filled and re-sealed each board, very well, but you re-sanded all the wood with the gray layer that you had already put on some time ago. ..!! of course the rest of this coat fills in all the gaps and small holes, and veins, it becomes smoother...but it's still a lot of work, to redo a new coat of paint...; followed by the others which will come on it... well done, it's true that it will give a very smooth and clean hull finish... but it's not the one that is under water...!! Good luck for the rest, it's a pleasure to watch you, and with the automatic translation in subtitles, we don't miss anything...!! the French are not very good at learning a language other than their own...!!

Hey there you two! Hope that many people appreciate your dedication and tenacity to be so dilligent to the Passion you Both have towards a monumental task! A while back you mentioned that a Boatyard would not haul your boat with a travel lift. I would recommend that you find a Railway to haul your vessel for the First Time if it's Available. By doing so,it's easier on the hull as your keel will be supported for the length of the vessel and the best way to make your determination as to how the integrity as a whole is! From there you will be able to assess the keel and supporting ribs etc. Your videos showing how much you have done internally Surely have helped, and you both have decided to do the same throughout. Wish I were closer and able to assist you and recommend procedures as you go forward. I can only comment by what I can visualize via your videos. The inspiration shared by the two of you is out Refreshing! A couple on the Same Page with regard to Life Altering Decisions. God Bless You and yours! Great Job.

Time to comment! Simon, Gemma, to say that I love how you guys operate would be an understatement! All I can give you is my respect and love of your tenacious attitudes. I'm sure you both have your moments of dissapointment and your days of hardship. So I watch episodes two or three times to get it all soaked up. I have a question.., I have not seen a new episode for this present time. Are there more coming? Is everything ok? I am hoping to see you guys sail the boat to a wharf or a Marina so you can be more comfortable working to finish the boat! I hope that this not an offensive question. And I may be impatient to wait and see. In any case, so far I have enjoyed your company in my home and hope for more videos. Thank you so much for sharing what you have wrought so far, love and much respect to both of you, ❤ John.

Fabulous work you two! Very impressed by your progress, I would love to see you both wearing ear protection while using the power tools. Take Care!
