I am just SO glad to see that the silos are staying !! I love the plans. This is coming along well. I would LOVE to know a possible timeline. I like the aquarium idea for one of the silos. I think a climbing wall is good also. I"m so glad the Ellicott City community is aware and communicating. This KZbin is excellent. I will share this as much as I can. I am Catonsville local and Oella local. So, I care. kathryn

Thank you for the compliment! So glad you care! Please visit the new website at www.Oella.US where I’ve begun gathering resources and posting materials that I hope will better inform our community. Any updates will be posted there. Currently, there is an outstanding public hearing still to be scheduled. I believe that the virtual hearing may take place over the summer. Subscribe to the blog at Oella.US and you’ll be one of the first to know! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the proposal is accepted and work can begin on clearing the site. Many Oella residents, including myself, would hate for the mill to be demolished and yet another ugly parking lot put in this place. Thanks for sharing.

Gosh, I love this. I have seldom seen developers that truly care about the community, the history, and the future. This one seems to "get it". I hope so very much that it all works out for the best for everyone. If it does, it would be a lovely tribute to the Ellicott brothers.

There's been an update to this video. You can find it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKm8c4ShirSaabs. A second traffic study was performed along with the realization that parking needs would have to be reassessed. Stacked parking is still an option that may actually see the light of day.
