I was in my thirties when this happened. Just like everybody that day. I lived in park s**** Brooklyn and I was going in to work into Manhattan When all hell broke loose. I work on William street, which is about 2 blocks away from the world trade center. And our building shook when the second plane hit. Because I wasn't in the building for the first attack. And we were running down the streets scared to death. I remember my partner did not come home for a long time. He was a doctor waiting on the internet to come in. And of course, as you know, there was no injured, mostly maybe 1 or 23 or for 5 people. But everyone else had been murdered. Let me say the word again murdered. Then we tried to get on with the lives the first week. But then we saw the black bunting on all of the firehouses and the police stations. We saw pictures on the back of cars way out on Long Island looking for the lost ones. Andwe saw people who were in denial thinking that the loved ones had been hit over the head by falling.. Debris and could not find their way home it was horrendous When all hell broke loose.

I don't know what sector of the economy you work in, but if you have a smartphone or a digital camera and a decent microphone it would make a really interesting project to try to find some of those "kids" and the teacher and do short "standup" interviews (or record a Zoom call) with each person recounting their impressions, memories, and emotions from that day.

This horrific sacrifice defies belief The twin towers became pagan Wiccamen of large scale. The 3rd almost symmetrical tower collapse following 2 asymmetric planestrikes made the message clear. No it doesn't. Which is why the remains of the towers burned for 100 days (just over 3 months). Whoever said 9 months?? Jet fuel has nothing to do with it. Big fires can smolder for a very long time, especially when there are so many flammable materials around.

Indeed. An F-16 that was sent to Ohio on 9/11 finally made it back to NYC. Seriously though, it's hard to believe that USAF only had a couple of warplanes on standby to cover the North East. When they were launched -- and as we now know -- they were sent away from NYC on a wild goose chase. I had hoped that things would have improved since then. The recent UFO (aka spy balloon) that was shot down in early 2023 over US airspace suggests that command and control still has its fingers up its proverbial backside.

This is terrifying, I'm 20 and never had the chance to go to the world trade center i learned at the age of 11 that the towers are destroyed after trying to rebuild them in Minecraft, i always wanted to go and parents didn't want make me sad i guess... I understand all the trauma and pain because i lived a similar thing in December 2007, a 20 tons truck fully loaded with explosives got trough the ambassy and ministry building in Algeria i was at school when the electricity brutally cut and the clock stopped, i remember that day like it was yesterday the Clic clack of the clock just suddenly stopped and i was like, yay electricity cut and literary 3 seconds after Windows blowed or got shattered with a big boom and the light turned on on before turning off again it was something that i never seen before... The tree's we used to look outside the window moved from left to right like toys, and the most terrifying thing was the silence and that wind noise the same wind noise that you could find when the trade center collapsed entirely that wind noise that doesn't stop... We got outside the school and another explosion happened, it was a pile of huge smokes and fire then another one happened again on another direction, it was way smaller and we where all focused on the big one that happened... Police came to us fully armed and put themselves into the entry of the school, we got into a safe spot inside the school... I'll spare the details because it's really long but the bombing happened on my neighborhood my dad was working at the ambassy that day and i was so worried that he died thanks fully i didn't want to wake up and cried to not go to school so i was late and he was also late and got stuck in traffic... I spend 3 hours at school hearing that weird wind noises, sirens lots of sirens and when i got out there was that burning smell literally hurting your noose it was impossible to forget... Ashes where falling from the sky and the sky color turned from a light blue to a dark Gray even if we where far far far away, i don't know what kind of explosive could cause that but it was something else... I was happy to see my dad back but the trauma being when we took the road, the road was literally on the bomb site and it was the road to go to house so the police let people drive through that road on a perimeter before a roadblock that was like 200 meeter away from the ministry.... The more closer we got in car the more you had that That smell of burn + like smell of intoxicated grilled pig idk how to explain it but it was a very weird smell that make you puke i literally wanted to puke and even if there was nothing i was terrified for some reason... The police was everywhere and then my dad told me to not look but i looked... There where abondoned cars, all around the road the building started to look destroyed, shoes where left on the streets and we stopped because of the roadblock, the police truck moved the destroyed and burned cars and passed on my left side the cars looked like the milka chocolate bar that i used to melt and then we turned right because the road was literally blocked by the police and behind you could see the ground zero of the ministry, the beautiful withe building that i once knew was a pillar and full rubble's, the street light where bend like a Tv cable, it was crazy that they where the only thing still standing but they where all bend to the same direction, the fire was burning inside the buildings and the bus ... I can't forget that bus full of blood and all the cars around it, there was a security road block of the police and the security road block disappeared there where just like destroyed Toyota 4runners from the police... The flames where burning inside the building debris and it was at like 100 150 meter from us but you could literally see the smokes and red tint... Late night of 11 December 2007, there still the ambulance no electricity till the 12 and the smoke was still visible from far away the smell was still here and you could smell it from miles and miles away... The news was always showing the missing people, the school was brutally silent for months and everytime you go outside there was a huge cloud of smoke on the city skyline... It was gray dark gray and it slowly faded to withe and stayed like that for 3 months... Sometimes some police officer knock at ours door saying: Are you this person and we said no it's the neighbors from the second floor, 30 second later we heard the crying of a woman... The sound of the machines helicopter and ambulance was heard for quite a while too... So looking at this video remind me of all of this
