Jazak Allahu Khayr Mufti Menk. May Allah grant you Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Brief summary of the episode. Continuation of Surah Fatiha. When His slave says Ihdinas Siratal mustaqeem siraatal ladhina an'amta 'alaihim ghairil maghdhubi 'alaihim wa laddaallin (Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favours and not of those who have incurred Your wrath and nor of those who have gone astray), Allah (SWT) says, "This (part of the Surah is exclusively) for My slave and my slave shall receive whatever he has asked for." 1. Dua of Adam(A.S) for forgiveness. Surah Al-A'raf (23rd verse).

The supplication: ﴿رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَـسِرِينَ﴾ (“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. All these supplications are related to person ok means in ur lectures , here you are talking about coonection between allah and person but ALLAH gets more happy with human when he help or ease the life of other human .. so my question is that what is the best way of getting close to ALLAH ? 1 .. spending time morein HIS worship or 2 spending more time in helping others ?

Allah understands and has created all languages. The only time you MUST do the wordings in Arabic is during your Prayers / Salah. However, Dua can be said in any language.
