EP05 Fish, Plants and Nature, with Baum! (Treee)

Here we are then! Episode 05 of Riddler's Rambles is here! I am joined this time by the man, the myth, the legend, that is Baum! (If you know, you know!). Baum found me through the captive raptors podcast that I did with Paul, and has been a great follower and friend ever since, always offering me constructive criticism and advice when it comes to my plants and substrate in my enclosures! Mainly because of how many of my plants that he has seen fail miserably!
I have since implemented a lot of this advice, and so far, so good! Listen along if you feel you could do with some help with regards to your plants in your reptile enclosures! And thanks again to Baum for joining me on Riddler's Rambles!

I kept fish for many years before getting a snake and so much of what Baum said resonated with me. Like, why I like my snake to look small in her enclosure, why I like natural plants, why I don' mind not handling her, etc. I also think it's why I keep my snake in the main part of the house, so I can enjoy her like I did my fish, and I like looking at her enclosure even if I don't see her at that moment. I felt seen! 😂 Great episode and discussion.

I think there’s so many similarities that we can transfer from the fish keeping hobby to the reptile hobby, I know it’s helped me, for sure! Thanks for watching, Natalia, appreciate the support!
