Lizards love iguanas had a puppy dog tame green they are awesome! But any species of iguana is my favourite! Also got two royal pythons but they don't do anything pmsl

I was so close to getting a snake, and a few people pointed out I’ve had almost 2 decades of lizards, I’m likely going to find snakes very boring 🙈 I still think snakes stunning, interesting creatures but yeah I’m team lizard

Team turtle, but I have a leopard gecko and several snakes and I love them all! But if I had to choose one kind of reptile, I’d choose turtles. If I could still have turtles and had to choose between snakes and lizards, I’d have to choose snakes! 🐍

Although seeing a mangrove monitor in person through Snake Discovery’s adoption island the other day gave me an even greater appreciation for monitors, it was my first time seeing one up close and personal. So amazing. If I had the means and the space, I’d definitely want to look into getting some sort of monitor!

Haha yeah don’t get me wrong I do love snakes but the lizards, and especially monitor lizards, are just incredible to have in your care, they’re amazing! And if you like mangrove monitors, I’d highly suggest Paul’s Monitors on instagram if you’re not following him already!

Cracking video. I love my australian lizards (mainly BTS, PTS) and as I have an empty 6x3x2 i may add an ackie to my collection at some point. I would have said team lizard until i got into Asian Rat Snake's. Some of those species are super interesting and a joy to keep. For that reason i say team snake. Btw. I owned a Brazilian Rainbow Boa about 15 years ago. She was super sweet but i never saw her. I might of just as well kept an empty viv full substrate and cork.

That’s my only downfall with snakes is that similar to what you’ve said about the rainbow boas, half the time it’s an empty viv

The russian, japanese, dione's and 100 flower rat are very active and i see them all the time. The mandarin and king rat are a bit more elusive but both look stunning and when they are out you're reminded how lucky you are to have them.

I have baby Brazilian rainbow boas which will be ready in a couple of weeks 😉 and next year hopefully I'll have baby green tree pythons If I could only keep one species it wouldn't be a snake or a lizard it my be my pair of Oophaga pumilio "bastimentos cemetery"

@@riddlerreptiles I do they are pretty simple to build. I get my glass from a local glazer cut to my specifications and just put it together. Takes 10 - 15 minutes to actually build the tank and put the background in. I use expanded cork insulation panels as a background. Works out alot cheaper too. Recently build a 60x45x80cm euro style viv for my pair of basti's cost me £80 for the glass and £5 for silicone. Whereas if I was to buy the glass tank ready built I'd be looking £200+

That’s a very good size to be fair, and as long as you utilise the height with plenty of climbing opportunities, I honestly can’t see that being a problem!

Im not 100% on the snakes being legless monitor lizards being technically correct in the most scientific way but your royals and ragnar are much closer related to each other than eighter are to your leopard geckos or a tegu

Yes mate! Local glass and window fitting shop near me, just took my measurements in, and they cut the float glass to size there and then!

Loving the progress and update bro. And no one understands the work and dedication needed until you build one yourself. They do take up a lot of time and take away from other things like haircuts lol. Home stretch bro, you're almost there. Don't worry about the what ifs cuz you can always repair or change it up. But i know you have been thinking of what if and this build is well thought out! 🤘💯🤘🦎
