Lovely video of family during Christmas and New year, the atmosphere is peaceful and it reiterates that simple living is the secret to a happy life. Thank you for such an interesting & informative vlog. It's such a joy to see Annika laughing so much. She obviously likes the cold. Vinod has adjusted beautifully into a different culture & way of life. He is enjoying the food too. I will miss this beauty once you return to India. I live in a west coastal region of India & have at least 25 species of birds visiting my garden. I place fresh water daily for drinking & bathing. It's a joy to watch their antics.

We have our own "Sauna" in Australia it's called Summer 🔥 every day it's been 35-40o Celsius and we are sweating without any effort 😉. I thought l was the crazy person that adores bird watching, l always leave dishes of water in the garden and freshen it up on hot days,your Mum is correct you cannot stop feeding/water them otherwise they will die, l just love seeing new birds come to drink from the bird bath. I had no idea you also have Magpies in Europe, having googled it the ones your side look a little different to the Australian magpie that are a real pest especially in spring time. Thankyou for sharing another beautiful vlog we love your Mum and Raimo also the are so calm and patient 😊

Finnish people do love their sauna… and I see why… it’s so very cold and the Sauna is the only thing that really brings constant heat and allows warmth, relaxation and builds the immune system, when the sun which would do all those things, is absent… so it’s an alternative for the sun☀️😄😊 happy new year!🍾 🎊🎆 🥳 also, off topic I just watched the new Disney animated movie Encanto, and I must say it was good, and similar to Moana…
