Ah, Summer! Sunshine! Suncream! And beautiful Cornwall. Never been on the TET there, but hiking and sightseeing quite a bit. Happy weekend, Günter/Nürnberg

@@wanderinghonda7963 Thanks, maybe some Nürnberg Lebkuchen (spice cake) later. I'm trying to get over the cold I picked up on the flight to Portugal. Riding was gorgeous! I'll be back.

Loved watching. Myself and mate rode the Cornish/Devon tet last year. Takes an age to get anywhere. We did every track. Loved it. Your so right about brambles.

The Devon TET as well? That sounds amazing. We’re might need to go back 🤔 Was it horribly difficult or similar?

@wanderinghonda7963 love the interaction between you both - it's a standout of the channel for me

Thanks for that, as you know it’s always good to get feedback, good or bad, when you throw a video out into the void! We’re almost didn’t release these two videos as they were a bit dry compared to recent stuff but I’m glad we did if people are enjoying them Almost sorted with editing the Tanzanian series so that should be fun to watch in the new year Thanks for the comments. We’re keeping it eyes peeled for your new series 👍🏼

The weird plant is gunnera, locally known as “giant rhubarb”, which is common in Devon and Cornwall.
@wanderinghonda7963Күн бұрын
Brilliant. Thanks for letting us know, it was an impressive size! This was filmed this summer so memory is slightly hazy but I seem to remember in part two there’s another huge plant that has us confused 😆

3.3 km before stopping for coffee... I continue to live in awe of your restraint and self-control. I'd'a' stopped within 2km. In fact, y'd be hard pressed to get me out of the building before I've had caffeine... The Tor was beautiful - I'd be tempted to walk widdershins around it 3 times to see if I vanished into another realm... Looking forward to seeing more of Cornwall on your travels.

I’m glad we’ve found someone else who enjoys coffee asap in the mornings 😆

@@wanderinghonda7963 I had a fully-automated espresso machine that would grind the beans as required and do the tamping and all the other stuff. Sadly, the grinding mechanism broke, and I don't know how to get it fixed. My mornings got bleaker at that point...

Just looked at some older videos and found that you use the same tablet i do.. Great minds and all that But then you mentioned guru maps Omg..... Thats EXACTLY what ive been trying to find for the last year or so... Downloaded it already and even got the cornish tet uploaded, best of all i see it lets you easily reverse the track and navigate to it from it... Again omg... What life saver id been struggling with various map apps but by gosh i think guru is it....
@wanderinghonda7963Сағат бұрын
That’s brilliant! We’ve used gurumaps for years now and it works well for us. Hopefully it will for you as well Thanks for letting us know, your comment put a smile on our faces this morning Ride safe 😊

Oh and I'm on a crf250 rally Possibly the 250/300 crf is the ideal bike for the cornish tet sections

Thanks for such a lovely comment. I don’t want to give any spoilers for “part 2” next Friday but we’d be really interested to hear from you if we missed out any interesting lanes once you’ve watched it. We loved the Cornish lanes 😊
@chrisfs15011 сағат бұрын
Hopefully you advvoided the 2 lanes at bodmin. You can't miss them.. normally they're about 6ft deep In mud.... Im avidly waiting part 2 2 days just won't do it justice, even as a local, I keep stopping for a look about every 20 min or so!
@wanderinghonda796311 сағат бұрын
I think we definitely missed those lanes!

It is the best gate faffery I've seen for quite a while 😀The plant was Gunnera, like a giant rhubarb with thorns. It's not that I'm a plant person, I think Biscuitsalive covered it in his video of the Cornish TET. The burning question that wasn't covered was whether you went Jam First or Cream First with your cream tea.
@wanderinghonda7963Күн бұрын
The gate faffing was embarrassing 😆 Thanks for the plant info, it was huge. We’ll be checking your plant credentials in episode two when we stumble across another HUGE plant that we’d never seen before 😊 We will now offend all of Devon by saying ….. jam first!
