Actually in Malaysia we have few national level exams. Standard 5, Form 3 (the result will determine whether you can pursue your further education in art or science stream), Form 5 ( result will determine your entry into university - local/ oversea), Form 6 ( result will also determine your entry into university - local/overseas).

Now is the fasting month for the Muslims. You should come to experience and enjoy the variety of food in the bazaars which each township will have at least 1. You might get invited by your Muslim subscribers to their “open house” once the fasting month is over to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr.

I have been drive in Korea for many times. It's not really difficult to changes side of driving. If you confuse which lane should you stay, just makesure the middle line(that divide road direction) of the road are on driver side. In term of work culture, i worked for Samsung for 5years and honestly korean work culture always want "ppali ppali". If your boss said the deadline of the project are 1 month, don't wait and just finish it a.s.a.p. After a week they will ask for the end result. I do work related to audit during my samsung time and i work overtime until 10pm on usual day. But i work till 3-4am overtime if there are HQ audit and it's takes around 3months. That time i still so young so i'm fine with working overtime and i'm kinda workaholic too. Later, when working with US or euro or Malaysian company, it's totally different culture. They are more chill. But till now i still love my time during working with samsung. For traveling, if i visit korea i prefer do cafe hoping and do learning something about korean culture. But myeongdong is a must. I need to shop for my skincare too. That's what girl love to do😂 If coming to Malaysia, i will bring you to my hometown Muar, Johor just for food then since it's only take 40min to Malacca, i will take you to Malacca. But Sabah is really beautiful and i do love Terengganu too. Ohh maybe you should do some camping in Malaysia too. It might be rough sometime but it still a healing process that make you smile everytime you remember it later😂

I've never seen such a long comment. Thank you so much! It's amazing that you worked at Samsung!! You will sympathize a lot with the work culture we talk about in Korea. We didn't know because we haven't driven on the other side yet, but thank you for letting us know.And we want to go to Johovaru. We will continue to upload a lot of contents related to Korea and Malaysia, so please keep watching!

The study culture is actually differs for every type of school. What she said is mainly in givernmnet school. I studied in religious school. We have 21 subjects to learn every year. We finished school at 1 pm like everyone else. Rest for pray n eat for 1 hour. Started extra school at 2 until 5 pm. Rest for praying n eating until 8.30( isya'). Then we have night class until 11pm. Or some school just have individual study session until 11pm. There are also some special school that started at 6am. Ended im not sure. But quite late.

Not sure kalau dah tukar terms tapi dalam buku teks memandu memang ada stated.😊 2. Sauna kat Malaysia biasa ada kat accomodation yg mahal² sahaja mostly, BUT we mostly ada hot spring tho at almost every states in Malaysia~

About the dinner or work culture outside of work hours it is slightly different than what she describe. My father is a government worker. He has 2 bosses (the director and vice director). When there is formal dinner, he has to attend and make it his priority (its usually held at night until midnight). Whenever his bosses attend, he has to be there as well, whatever the occasions and he will not take any leave even if he is tired. They might not be pressured openly, but the pressure is still there. But the difference between korean culture and Malaysian, I think this dinner counts as formal working hours? I'm not sure about this, I have not asked my father. Then there is another thing when the bosses invite their staff to attend their children's wedding, or maybe the bosses wanted to buy the staff lunch on sundays, of course the staff have to show up. The bosses will not pressured them openly though, but I think this is a general knowledge that as a lower ranking staff, we must show respect to our boss. The bosses will not show contempt openly but he might mention it later although only jokingly. I do not know any other person experience though. This is only from what I know observing my parents
@power5able

I believe your father is on the higher level of position. Is he? Cause in korea, even lowest staff need to go to company dinners. But in general, not many company really stress on about company dinner to lots of staff. In the end, the malaysian company is a bit.....kedekut hahahahahha Or perhaps, your father work at a korean company? So they bring the culture to malaysia..

In malaysia we have sauna service at spa... I've experienced it twice if I'm not mistaken... The sauna in the spa they prepare a special room (quite large but depend on which spa u go like the spa that I went they are very spacious because they offer many other services like massage, hair care service and more) but nowadays it is much easier because we can do it ourself at home as long as you have all the tools needed... The tools u can buy it online or at any store that sell that kind of goods... For short, it is much convenient as we can do it at anytime and also much cheaper because u do it on your own compared to if you do it at spa and need to pay certain price for a single treatment
