Yis probably no idea how happy if makes long time viewers to see you as a couple just sat in a cosy room in your home chatting away after the MAMMOTH graft we've seen that got you both there! We’ve a living room and a family room. The living room is more formal (better carpet, more knick knacks, and no tv😊), but both are well used, similar to your arrangement. -Your snug looks so comfy. I’m thrilled for all of you!🎉 We’ve moved so many times, that watching your latest progress most recently, I could feel your stress. Wow. You did it & before saying anything, thank you for taking the extra time & pain to produce 2 videos a week & share this journey with us. Thanks also to the kids for allowing you to share their spaces with the KZbin world I adore the snug. I think big furniture is better in a small space. The room is open so it doesn’t look overcrowded. It just looks cozy We have a parlor & have in many of our houses but I don’t think my Mom had one growing up in Cork so it might be a New England addition in our case. Sounds like there are enough projects left inside the house to take you thru the rest of the year. I like the idea of easing up a bit. You’ve all earned it but especially you both, Rob & Clare I’m intrigued by the tiny homes. I wasn’t sure if they were a thing in Ireland. I know they’re not approved in some European countries. Would you have B&B’s or rent them? Or are they for family? Drainage might sound boring but essential so I look forward to all of that. What are you planning to do with all of the stone rubble around the kitchen? They will be a chore to move Please don’t feel the need to answer all of my questions now. I think you’ll eventually address them in future videos May your home keep you & your loved ones safe, dry & warm. Congratulations ✌️🧡🍁♥️🍂🤎

Yes we will try to keep the two videos each week, it's become such normality now and it's really not too difficult and we don't ever want to let you guys down. We may drop to one however eventually to make place for something new😉 all in the pipeline. How interesting to hear that you have a parlor over, gosh I did think it was an Irish thing. I love hearing about the similarities. The stones in front of the kitchen will be used to create a deck area from under the big kitchen windows around the side to the large kitchen door eventually, this faces South and West so will hopefully be a great sun spot. The tiny homes would be run as Airbnb's. We live in an area where there are very little of these available when people visit the area and our second entrance at the bottom would be solely for these, still a bit of planning in this yet. Maybe we can entice you for a trip back down memory lane 😉❤️

You guys have worked hard and it's beautiful it's a labor of love! The wood stove is just in time for fall and winter. I love it. Cozy space. I like the set up. We lived 10 years in an old 1900 federal style building redone like a cape cod look. Brick walls through out. It was a continuous remodel but my kids loved growing up in that old haunted house.

Well done to the both of you it reminds me of where we lived many years ago .we lived on a green where they used to beetle linen it belonged to Clark’s of upperlands linen manufactures in Co Londonderry and we had a workers cottage .The house looks so cosy and the snug is gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms look snug and warm ..we had a little room it was called the gloryhole and it housed our buckets of water and a place to wash dishes but the memories that little house held for us kids is unbelievable again well done to you both ❤️

Great video guys. Just a note that pine cones are good fire kindling. Dry them for about 2weeks first. Also eco-cat litter is great too. It is compressed wood pellets. Hope this helps
