Thanks! Great detailed review as always. What a bumper for the tongue (not being gusseted) and the minimum outsole. Also if I may suggest; to also talk about the rocker type, and show the shoes "rockingness" too.
@EasyLifeES10 ай бұрын
Hi there, Thank you for your suggestion. First of all I will be completely honest and say that the word "rocker" entred in my vocabulary just recently. Somewhere at the end of the last year. As a disclaimer I'm NOT a podaitrist myself, so my knowledge is kind off limited. Like I've said, at the end of last year a was hearing more and more this topic in some dedicated running sneakers channels and I also read the opinions of some podiatrist about this subject and I ended up ignoring a bit the subject just because I have "fasciitis plantar". And is a very importing matter when a runner has that problem but, uses sneakers that have "rocker" in them. I will leave here a translate text from a spanish webpage (for all the viewers that are following my videos and maybe don't know much about the rockers in shoes) where a podiatrist is trying to explain how the rocker works and what are the benefits and disadvantages and this way we make a bit of "light" over this subject and all the viewer's can decide by themselves if they need that "feature" or not in their sneakers: “Shoes with very marked rockers are models to go fast. Models with a carbon plate and high profiles often have raised rockers. In the end, the idea is that it helps you in propulsion, in the phase of taking off the foot, which is when it helps us move forward”. "It's about resting the shoe on the ground for as little time as possible and spending as much time as possible advancing and pulling forward, and that's what this type of shoe makes it easier for us." "If your muscles are ready to endure 5 or 10 km, it doesn't make sense to buy a model of this type to run a marathon." Article source: corriendovoy.com/que-es-el-rocker-de-la-zapatilla/) So, do my problem with "fasciitis plantar" (24:16 I did specified that), a sneaker with a rocker will be the last thing that I need. That will overload my calves of the legs and I will end up with some excruciating pain from cramps that I get in my calves of the legs (I believe they are called) which is completely unnecessary for me. That is why is important to know and understand what kind of sneakers we need to use, because we are different and we do have different needs because of that. Now to answer a bit to your question about the rocker in these particular sneakers... Is minimal (16:35 normally the outsole it shouldn't bend as easily as there, at 11:08 I specified that the rigidity is not optimal... So no "rocker effect" in these ones) or is like I said, quite minimal. I hope that this long comment is useful for more people.

@@EasyLifeES Thanks again. I'm also looking for minimum to non/light rocker shoes (for now).

the Outsole logic is true, the usual BS of lightweight is not true, foam is foam and it is not designed to contact the ground for shoes, outsoles are usually 100% coverage on shoes. Hope you can make top 5 or top 10 quality shoes. Thank you. Keep up.
@EasyLifeES5 ай бұрын
Yeah, I will never enjoy the same a pair of sneakers (any kind of them) if they don't have a decent full rubber outsole in them. Is just common sense for me. About "lightweight" idea... the brands and some runners are keep pushing it all the time. For me is not "a real reason to remove rubber from outsoles", other than GREED... Yes, just... like ... that. "Hope you can make top 5 or top 10 quality shoes. Thank you. Keep up." - That is seriously hard to do these days for me, because they have to do well in having: 1. Decent rubber outsole coverage (in order to last, to protect, help with the balance/stability, grip etc) 2. Decent stack in a not to firm midsole (helps with the comfort, cushioning, bounce back etc) 3. Decent upper not too thin and not too thick (breathability, durability of the shoe) 4. At least 4-5mm thick softer insoles (helps with the comfort especially in longer runs, very often helps avoiding pain if you have fasciitis plantar). Great will be 7mm if you ask me... (Ep82 Supernova M - had them really "like a boss") 5. Correct width for tongue (has to cover my entire instep). 6. Good rigidity (protects my arch and avoids getting injured). 7. To be true to size - if possible, though is not a big deal, if everything else is already done well. BUT it has to have correct length/width proportions. 8. Good lining to last for at least 1 year if possible. 9. Weight under 750g/26.45oz for a pair is size ES 41 or 8 US. 10. Not be overpriced... :) They might be other aspects also, but those 10 are the most important for me as right now... and I don't know if I've seen a sneaker like "that" for at least 3-4 years to be honest. Now everyone will have different "rules" for the best one, so depends of the individual... which one are his/hers own preferences. PS: Thanks for watching these videos!

Thank u, may i ask something? Im planning to use this shoes for school, but im scared the foam will be so soft for walk since its a running shoes, do u reccomended it for school? And is it durable? Thank you.

I don't know much about sneakers, and I would appreciate your recommendation. I am planning to buy three pairs of sneakers: one for running and two for my job casual use. On some days, I stand and walk a lot for 12 hours, while on other days, I spend a long time sitting in a chair. What are your thoughts on other brands like the On Running Cloud Monster and the Hoka Clifton 9?
@EasyLifeES10 ай бұрын
On Running Cloud Monster and the Hoka Clifton 9 - about these ones, although both brands are on my radar for a while now I never ended up placing an order so I don't know how is the quality, durability, comfort and overall the experience with them (btw On Cloud look more appealing to me). If you are looking for a pair dedicated to running New Balance 1080v12 is easily one of my favorites. That one in my opinion is pretty well done (although not perfect, none of them are). You can try those and if you decide that you still need more cushioning (although most of the people they will find them excellent the way they are) you can go for a pair like New Balance More v4 (this ones i own and they are decent enough for my needs) or Asics Superblast that also have max cushioning midsoles. If the budget is lower and it is important I might recommend something different, but not as good in cushioning. About something for your job... There is more complicated, because you need something more casual looking... I recently purchase 3 pairs from Tommy Hilfiger (different models all very lightweight) and those have huge EVA foams (comparing with those that are "traditional" looking shoes) in them and they are very good in comfort, they go with jeans, linen trousers or chinos. Those maybe will blend a little bit better with casual wear clothing than some running dedicated sneakers. Maybe is also an option for you. I needed them for holidays to have something looking "elegant and sporty" at the same time but, also with decent cushioning too in comparison with other leather made footwear that tends to be hard like rocks for my feet. I hope this helps!

Are these just for running or walking also. I want to start waking the track for exercise & need some good walking shoes. Thanks !
@EasyLifeES7 ай бұрын
They can be used for track for exercises. I don't thing that you will have problems with them IF the track is not having slag! If it does have... well, look for something with better (more coverage I mean) rubber outsoles.

If I got well from your video, this snickers are good enough for daily use (not running), right?
@EasyLifeES7 ай бұрын
I did like them for the comfort and the cushioning. For the price they are very good for most of the people. Runners might enjoy them as well but, they have to be more careful with that partially covered rubber outsole. Other than that... I DO recommend them from my short experience with them. I hope this helps you somehow!

Buenas, para trotes de no mas de 10K cuál de las New Balance recomiendas las Arishi o las 411?
@EasyLifeES5 ай бұрын
Arishi v4 will be my choice without any hesitation, because of the better grip, more protection under your feet (very important actually), nicer cushioning (Fresh Foam has good cushioning, more responsive and keep the performance in time from my experience), better upper and so on. For little bit of more money difference that is in between them, it makes more sense that model which was pretty nice surprise for ME when I try it for the first time. Because I wasn't expected too much from them, at that price.

I have 2 favorites right now... New Balance More v4 & Asics Superblast. NB I have them... They aren't perfect but, none of them are really. I still recommend them because overall they fill my needs and they are OK enough in the cushioning aspect. I hope this helps!

@EasyLifeES2 ай бұрын
I haven't check it so far that Asics model , but with "that sole" is not even in my "range of interes". I really don't like sneakers with exposed foams in those soles (I'm trying to avoid them every time I can because of "that"). They have poor safety and usually" low value for the money" in long term use... I had problems in the past (for few times now) with exposed foams in those outsoles and I have hard time to recommend such models to other people knowing well my experience with them. IS NOT ok to get poked in your footbed with something just because you are training in a public park were we have fresh air to breathe. If the big brands are ignoring our safety I will ignore the products that they sell (every time I can). I really don't understand how the companies are willing to ignore that issue without any remorse. Maybe someone else is kind enough to guide you this time, if is having some experience with these models. Arishi v4 would had been great with full rubber sole... But as it partial, you might expect to feel stuff under your feet (from time to time having a soft midsole in them). I hope my reply helps you somehow!
