Okay let's take a moment and think about Rain for a second. She was born as one of the most powerful ANYTHING at basically the start of history. Like most of her peers, she's basically a Greek or Roman goddess - unlike modern western religions, those ancient polytheistic religions had plenty of characters who would be comparable to the higher tier characters in Tensura. She was born this way. But she was SO FRAKKING LAZY - that she's actually not that far from being surpassed. And I kind of love that idea for a character. Someone who was born so powerful might not actually have any real drive to obtain more power or improve anymore. It makes sense that someone on that level could or would be lazy. Rain doesn't really seem to have much in the way of goals. She seems pretty content as things are. DUDE! You shouldn't have revealed who that character is! He's such a big reveal! I want to know how he is alive.

So glad my #1 waifu is finally getting her time to shine and is confirmed as the strongest of the remaining original True Dragons. I love Veldora, but I always knew he wasn't stronger than his Onee-san and was tired of people saying it. Loving this volume so far. A lot of my favorite characters that almost never get screen time are finally getting a chance to show off. I'm surprised Moss has more magicules that Raine and Misery after they evolved into Devil Lords. I figured they'd be at least 2-2.5 million EP. Where were they as de, on peers then? The 4 Primordials under Rimuru tripled their EP after evolving. If they're under Moss, they must be around 1 million now and I guess we're around 300,000 before evolution.

The reason past major events were impactful was that certain things were at stake, and there was uncertainty about overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles. But in this volume, I don’t even understand what’s going on. Even the antagonist doesn’t get a satisfying end, and the dialogues between the characters are dumb. The motivations of the big bads, except for Ivarage, feel lackadaisical.

@@Jaybrand24 its not lazy writing its just that rain herself is lazy as fk. that's why moss creep up to her level in magicules. guy crimson also dont have the ability to evolve beings thats why he even have to ask rimuru to evolve the other 2 primordials. testarossa has been working moss like a horse so its natural. magicules also doesnt mean anything when against experienced individuals. its literally proven when diablo faced zelanus or diablo against vega who absorbed zelanus. he literally begged and got ptsd just seeing diablo. great writing tbh.
