It's funny how memories work. As soon as I spotted the red tulips my eyes teared up. They were my father's favorite - so much so that he planted 48 bulbs on each side of the front door as a statement of red, white and black as a house facade. Come Spring, the tall heads of the Emperor red Darwin tulips sent heady fragrance in the air as the soft winds of change wafted through our windows. Thanks for the memories Anna & Edd

It’s great that you are experiencing nice weather too and the garden at the château is looking very pretty with a variety of flowers. Anna, I wanted to tell you something for your wedding flowers .... my next door neighbor while I lived in California had a florest shop and she grew tube roses they look like little orange blossoms really delicate and pretty... she used them in the brides bouquet , corsages and little bouquets well her special touch which I had never seen before was to use little pearls in the center of the real flowers. they must of been plastic pearls not the real ones but it was a beautiful touch. You do such beautiful flowers and I thought you could grow this vine as I did in my courtyard to use ............. cindy : )

It is looking Great! What a wonderful area, so spacious. The dining room clean up looks so good. I think if you were to remove the upper section of the big cabinet between the radiators and hang a painting, tapestry or screen there it would be more elegant. Also, the chairs look so good in front of the windows.
