It would be nice to return sometime in the future and have you talk to the new owners about their vision for the place. So much potential sitting there, frozen in time. I really appreciate you making this (and other properties) available for the entire world to ponder. Thank you both 🙏 Cheers from Canada

For all the people who cannot travel, I say “Thank you” to you both for showing us properties we would normally never see, and sharing your world, in such an entertaining way.

There's a possibility council will ask you to demolish the hay barn so check first before planning

I’m not a fan n of this property. The living and utility spaces are all just squares. I think it could be developed as an event space but not a private home. Too boxy with little architectural interest.

I would guess 25000. I would get rid of all the outbuildings attached to the main house and repurpose any old wood that was useable. Didnt hear how large a piece of land went with the house.

To me, the circular metal on the wall looks like: "No 1 RIVEL(?) KENT GENERAL -". Doesn't ring a bell to me.

Uh, no on this one. I did like the Chateau you just did with the turrets, it needed a lot of Kilz paint to lighten up the ground floor. This one, I just don’t feel it. What happened with the one you were at sometime ago that was either a relative or friend? The one that had been vandalized?

Yes you need to have the microwave and oven above the benchtop and not underneath. I hate the microwaves that are underbench.

This is a lovely property and the house has a lot of potential. I think this will look wonderful when done properly ❤ This could even be made in to a semi attached house and still have great space for living ! A good steady income as an investment property! I’d buy it and restore it.. well if I had the money and a handy man with more assets available than me😂 I’d pay at least €150 000 If I’d buy it I’d keep the barn part and have a animals and a lots of grow space for food. -So if a fairly handsome man in his 40s or 50s with good humor and is caring and kind , honest and loyal , is interested in a Norwegian woman with an interest in history, renovation , decoration , music , art, animals , children and growing our own food.. get in touch😂

I love this property. I would love to see it renovated. For some reason, I felt very drawn to this property and could see myself living there. This is one of my favorite tours of an abandoned home that could be brought back to life. thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

For barns in France they range from €8k to €80K and land around €255 per sqm. The area though is expensive and wouldn't be surprised if it went for €350k. It would be a nice project and i would open that arch up and have like an artist studio space in the hay loft.

Edd and Anna, I LOVE when you show other properties that are on the market in France! I keep joking with my kids, that we're going to buy a place based on the ones Edd has shown us and THEY can all live there but they will need to do the reno! I mean, sons a plumber and one son in law is a carpenter so, why not 😂😂
@girlnorthof6040 минут бұрын
what...?! You've been holding out on me, Merrilee. Send them both to the Yukon... pretty please 🙏
@merrileeheard388933 минут бұрын
@girlnorthof60 I doubt they would go 🤣🤣 son does fire suppression sprinkler systems and son in law ha recently been diagnosed with a congenital back disease so he can't do the same fantastic wood working that he did in the film industry!!

@@merrileeheard3889 well, don't say I didn't try... 😂 We're just coming out of a -47 cold snap, so I wouldn't blame them for staying on the coast. 💖x

20:12 not a stables surely, Ed - looks like the classic layout of an old dairy barn to me. The cows were milked whilst they fed from a trough between the partitions, and the gutter beneath their tail end carries away the waste products. But I'd happily agree that this was actually for sea-horses if I could get you to stop calling wooden floor boards bloody "parquet"!!! 🤪😂 Edit: no I think I was mistaken - the hay racks (filled from storage on the floor above) could suggest horses, or cows. I had thought the metal pipe was a vacuum line but not so sure now. 😐
@anthonystevens7494 сағат бұрын
Nope, 3rd thought is cattle: those drinkers are for cows, and horse boxes have high walls to stop biting and bullying!
