This is a real nitty gritty truck restoration, if the previous owner took care of the mechanicals as well as he did the electricals, you might as well swap the engine before getting too deep in the project. One helluva worker you are.

Good job. I have an old '74 F100 ,Canadian steel dash, 351, auto, 9 inch. Short wheel base, white duco, no rust. An old guy had mostly restored it and there is a tiny bit of work on the engine to go.I had to buy her. She has Sunraysa wheels that I plan to change to white steelys ,like yours.They look good.

Hello, from Everett Washington USA. It is amazing what you were able to do with this clappped-out Ford truck. With a lot of your knowledge and hard work. the old Ford went from being a parts queen to a running and driving vehicle. I wouldn't have had the patience to sort out and fix all that crusty old wiring. I would have given up and let the thing burn up. In all, great work Mick. Just put engine 2000 rpm and slowly run some ATF through it. That will clean up the valves real good plus it burns carbon off the pistons. Always works real good for me.

Another fine job mate. If the auto is a C4 then the reverse clunk comes standard and free of charge 😆 Just a quick one with your vacuum lines, ported vs non-ported. You might want to run the ported line from the metering block to the vac advance on the distributor and the non ported, full manifold vacuum to the auto (the same as it was from the rear manifold T piece) P.S. Need more mucous action, love that project and can"t wait to see that one hit the track!
