2 жыл бұрын

We swap the old 351 cleveland for a 553hp N/A 410ci stroker C4 auto 3800rpm converter.
Redoing the fuel system, painting the engine bay and new exhaust all in the process.
SO WHAT IS BACKSHED ALL ABOUT ?
WE ARE ALL ABOUT SAVING OLD CLASSIC CARS AND MODIFIYING SOME ALONG THE WAY TOO.
WE LOVE THE CLASSIC RESCUE , FIRST WASH ,FIRST START IN YEARS TYPE OF THING, GETTING OLD JUNK RUNNING AND DRIVING THEN PUT BACK ON THE ROAD AFTER YEARS OF BEING LEFT TO ROT IS WHAT WE DO.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOUR INTO FORD , HOLDEN , CHEVY , BIG BLOCK SMALL BLOCK OR ANYTHING IN BETWEEN WE MIGHT HAVE A VIDEO FOR YOU TO WATCH. IVE HAVE AND HAVE HAD A LOT OF CARS INCLUDING XB COUPE , XY FACLON GT , EH HOLDEN , F100 , VB COMMODORE , HQ SEDAN AND WAGON , CORTINA , VALIANT AND SO MANY MORE SO THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. IN ON OF OUR VIDEOS I PRETTY MUCH WENT TO HEAVEN FINDING A WRECKING YARD / JUNKARD WHERE THERE WAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD DREAM OF INCLUDING A MONARO , CHARGER , VALIANT PACER , A FALCON COUPE , TORANA , CADILLAC , SOME CHEVY'S EVEN SOME JDM CARS LIKE DATSUN , NISSAN SKYLINE , MITSUBISHI SCORPION BUT IT DIDN'T STOP THERE EVEN 4X4 LIKE A HJ 45 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER AND A 60 SERIES WAGON . I REALLY HAVE NO BIAS I LOVE RESCUING THEM ALL SO DO STICK AROUND AS YOUR BOUND TO SEE SOMETHING YOU LIKE. CHEERS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WATCH . MICK

That is one Bad Ass Falcon! Your story of the nut rolling away to its secret place was so right on. Also the head under the dash story seemed plausible for a nutter like me to swallow, hook, line and sinker.

Jet, just found this. Great job, great tips... One for you... If brake line fittings too tight for open ender before I destroy them with pipe spanner I use a good set of square jaw vice grips, nice and tight & they break. I think the compression of the jaws brakes the aged & corroded bond on the thread... Hope it helps in the future. Cheers Mike

🇦🇺 i think your videos are bang on. I’m a big Vice grip garage fan and I’m really happy now there is an Aussie I can watch fixing some of my favourite cars. I think the format of your videos is great and the way you have edited them is spot on. I hope you have got some coin and i hope you keep finding cool old aussie cars to work on. I also enjoy how you are fixing what you found. Keep it basically original. I have one question. What region of oz do you live in? Keep the videos coming. 👍🇦🇺. Any way enough talk… get back to work.

I had to watch this vid again just coz the nut rolling effect, it's a common thing for me too. And another note, extractors never fit nice, not in my experience, so i tend to do a slippery fit first and make sure they align with the head, before engine is in the hole, some heating and bending is usually required and possibly grinding, you want those pipes fitting nice on the head with gaskets before installation. Some weld slag on the inside could do with a smooth off too will help flow transition if your that fussy. I even go to extreme of ceramic coat on some projects after a f8ck ton of dickin around on extractor fitment. Have fun, i enjoy the quality of the vids mate.
