My husband who recently passed was a man of few words. He demonstrated what man hood looked like without words but action. My son had the best teacher a young man could have. He was a provider, teacher and proud. Young people seem to need words to communicate. The young man in the middle speaking about his dad and mother has it right!

I absolutely enjoyed this podcast. The men were vulnerable and raw. I've never heard of the podcast or of you Bishop...however facebook led me here and I know that was nothing but God. I'm a subscriber now.

These podcasts are real. I’m in awe that I lived to experience the body of Christ facilitating conversations that target the whole man/woman. Well done, Bishop for allowing God to use you to penetrate areas in our lives that were void of ministry 👏👏

I enjoyed the conversation in general but the Ruth and Boaz doctrine seem to be a bit off. Ruth did the opposite of showing up and shutting up. She cleaned up, She positioned herself in a proper environment for intimate conversation and then she spoke up.

Regarding having everything taken care of for your children I believe sounds good, but if the truth be told may handicap the child from developing self worth. In addition to that there is something to be said for allowing the child to develop a solid work ethic. Are we as people of color unknowingly competing and validating we are just as competent in providing as our white brothers and sister? Are we trying to set our kids up like we have seen them set their children up for life? If we have ever been in poverty this is particularly important to us. This is understandable, but not necessarily the best thing for the child. The drug and reported suicidal rate of these wealthy children is high in affluent counties because these children were given everything and as adults can not operate in the real world that does not. So please research, pray and rethink this parenting system. ( Trained Behavioral Scientist, MS JHU and parent of adult children.)

My issue with what was said regarding the financial advice is the part about senior citizens not being able to afford their land. That’s a problem. What would Jesus do? Would He tell us to capitalize off of the misfortune of another? I don’t believe so. Now if it was someone who had plenty of land or they were wealthy and irresponsible and terrible people, well that’s different. I don’t want any deserving, good hearted, person to lose their land just because they fell on hard times etc. Jesus please help us as a people, to love, think, act, move, behave, and make decisions that are pleasing to you. 🙏🏽
