We used to have so much trouble with the brakes on John’s RV4! Your footwell did clean up very well 😊

I remember seeing your videos and felt for you both every time. I am so thankful I didn't use DOT3 or I would have to repaint half my cockpit floor.

Even with the timelapse, the break bleeding seemed to quicker and more straight forward than I expected. Although I'm sure you've done that many many times before. The fact you are thinking about attaching the wings, gives an indication of your progress I think.

It differs from some methods but I felt it would allow me to clear the air from the piston seals better then bleeding from the calliper up. Yes we are getting near to rigging uncovered wings, then there is a lot of loose ends to sort out.

It is amazing what you do in your workshop. I'm sure you won't do what I did in one of my training flights when I hit the right hand brake and not the left. Oooops. Soon realised the other peddle was not the cultch!! All looking goos Algy. Regards Michael

Looking good Algy and I'm just playing catch-up now I'm back in the UK. I've never actually used heal brakes, are there any issues with getting used to them?
@flyingkub22 күн бұрын
@@GolfFoxtrot22 hi Giles, yes they can take a bit of getting used to , as you generally have less feel but my design are not so much heal as short peddle, using arch giving some feel.
