I LOVE the Pyrenees & Picos. If I could only ride one area for the rest of my life, this would be my choice!

What a cracking video diary, at first I thought 47 mins that's long but I watched every second with many pauses to follow it on google maps. Been to the Picos twice and it rained both times, 2019 should be third time lucky for us. A lot of hour has gone into editing that and with two cams, the sound is just right with hardly any wind noise, stable camera mounts too. Not seen part 1 yet. Great stuff, thanks.

Hi Steve and thank you very much for taking a moment to provide your detailed feedback. I really try to keep the final edit time to a minimum but 12-14 days in two episodes is pretty difficult....anyway, I create them firstly for myself and it's great if others find them interesting too. Thanks for Subscribing too, cheers Steve.

Awesome as usual. Episode 2 when? Ooh, your public are sooo demanding... love the off route bit...🤭 would have loved to have earwiged the conversation with Wayne...

I'm guessing your comment referred to my latest trip in the Pyrenees, Portugal & Picos...rather than this previous video 'Peerless Pyrenees & Picos'. Thanks for commenting and let me know, where you plan to visit in 2023?

Familiar roads. I'll be going there in 2 weeks from now to play around with my BMW 1100GS for a few weeks. Looking forward to it in these strange times.

Hi Dutch Sailor, I'm pretty jealous, as we still have certain restrictions...plus it seems to be ramping up for another wave of Covid here in the UK! It's such a great riding area and hope you have a fabulous time 😎

Great video with the editing, information and pauses. Rode the Pyrenees for the first time in 2019 with a friend as a guide, his 2nd time in the Pyrenees. Have crisscrossed the Alps on different rides, but Pyrenees were a great surprise, and a well kept secret. Look forward to spending more time on those roads. FYI, we stopped at the Crepe restaurant at 47:32 of the video on our way to Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls. In 2018, I was in Calais when "Storm Ali" hit the UK and the Channel, we were expecting friends to pop over for a day visit, which didn't happen. Thanks for the work on these video's, which are the best I have seen for a road trip diary. Rob & Peter - Vancouver, Canada.

Wow Robert, thank you for your comments, much appreciated. It sounds like you enjoyed the Pyrenees with your friend in 2019. Personally, I love the quieter, twisty roads of the Picos but anywhere in Spain is good IMO. Best wishes to you both in Vancouver and spread the word amongst your local riders who fancy a trip in Europe! Paul.

I liked the split screen .
@YarroMoto4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment Jean-Michel. I came to my conclusion that the split-screen view was probably just too distracting, so have stopped editing that way in more recent videos. Do you like more. or less chat from the riders of videos like mine and what information would be more interesting?

Excellent! No music, a huge plus, just the sweet sound of your Triumph triple, I'd recognize that buzz anywhere. And, will be down that way early June, thanks for the heads up, well done.

Having read your Comment again...I have to ask Tristram, is it MY musical interludes over some of my vids that you dislike....or do you mean KZbinrs who put that incessant, loud, rock music over their footage (hopefully the second?) 😬...

Excellent vid I also thought 47 min is a long YT vid but you had me glued to every second. Stunningly Spectacular views and marvelous roads. I have to go to Europe and ride some. I might be bad to ride with as I would have to stop at every village and town long the way. Well done. Benno

Thanks for the feedback Paul! I know they're quite long but you have no idea how much film was edited down! Primarily, they are a record of my trip for myself, and it's also great if others find them interesting too. Let me know, if you eventually plan on a trip over to Europe........😎

you should ride with us then lol, we spend more time looking at the scenery than riding I think :D

Can't beat a video as a holiday reminder. Really enjoyed watching these two. Have been on a few of these roads but you certainly did a lot I haven't. I like the way you have a group that have an end destination but don't necessarily ride together for the day. Able to do your own thing. Some great editing too. Good work my friend. I will probably revisit these frequently to get a more detailed route and hotel stop list. Thanks for posting these videos.🤩

Ah, after a re-read, I guess you mean RiDE routes…well, only the one, or two I mentioned in the vid. Trouble is, everyone’s idea of a ‘great’ ride is different 🥴. Thanks for watching 👍

Algarve Vstrom...For some reason, I can see your comment in my email account but it's not being displayed here...for me to comment beneath your text. YT eh! That's quite a coincidence that you were on same sailings as us and yes, Plymouth was whistling a gale that evening...which is why we'd chosen to stay overnight in that (miserable) hotel in the city centre. Hope you get there again in Sept, as planned...personally, I'll be happy to go anywhere abroad this year...we'll see. Stay safe and hope you keep watching the channel. Paul.
