Ep2 Outback Australia in a van...With a Thai chick... What could go wrong..?

In this episode, we arrive in the very outback Australian town of Bourke. Our review of the town is not that great, but the campsite was beautiful and we caught a fish! We move on (run as fast as we can) from Bourke and over into Queensland where we really head into nowhere and see heaps of wild animals and less wild people... The scenery is spectacular in its nothingness. We finish this episode in the very outback Queensland town of Thargomindah. Loved the locals, loved the pub.

Travelling through outback Australia with my Thai Chick. We love eating, drinking beer, fishing and parking ourselves a long way from anywhere. We love van life. We love travel. We love the sun! We just had an idea to take a video for us to remember the trip and we decided to throw it on our channel.
We are far from professional when it comes to travel vids, but we just pick up the phone and have a crack.
Travel is amazing...Vanlife in Australia is even more amazing!

Thanks for the videos. Much appreciated. I'm now in WA, 67yo, but I was born in Qld and want to visit it again. I've done 4WD trips, one to the tip of Cape York, two through the Kimberley, and some bike trips, one to Tas. and one from Perth to Cairns and back. I'm retired now and hope for another 4WD for some more travel, heart attacks allowing. Your wife is beautiful. Hey I HAVE camped at the actual Wolfe Creek. It has a bush camp site. Luckily with family, not alone. The atmosphere was err memorable. I do really regret having watched that movie lol. Burke sounds like the Alice. Overrun. The Alice IS beautiful though. A must see!. Think up through the Alice and north to Darwin. Can I make some suggestions?. Not criticizing, and your videos are appreciated regardless. Leave the stills on screen for a little longer. I'm wanting to see and admire the locations and countryside. The more scenic views the better. Another camera or two can make for more variety in the clips. Another camera for your wife, for instance. It's fun to learn to improve the videoing and the editing. Even better if you ever felt inclined - some drone shots really adds a lot to these types of videos. The small DJI drones are err "relatively cheap" :), and quite easily to operate, often using your phone as their control and viewing screen. You can set them to follow another devise (e.g. another phone) or sometimes more recently, just track a moving object. Second hand could even be an option, if the cost is difficult. None of this urgent of course. Perhaps something to consider perhaps for the future. Enjoy the travels. It's a huge almost empty country. Very beautiful in it's own way.
