I recently ran across a youtube channel called, Dr Lori. She is a world renowed appraiser. You can learn a lot from her on old jewelry, paintings , etc. Very informative! Thanks for the great vids, I love them.

Hi Guys. I think this the episode where you purchased the heavy pearls. One way of telling if they are real pearls is that there will be a knot between each pearl. Love watching your videos. Vicki

That's not always true. I have an amazingly beautiful long strand of imatation pearls that have a knot between each pearl. If they were real I'd be sitting on a gold mine 😂!

Knotted and a good clasp are good ways of suspecting real pearls. Knotting pearls is a dying art. My friend in Florida learned how several years ago.

Good morning guys! So I saw once a rare old music book sell for tons of money! Good find especially 1880. I think antique road show thousands for the one old music hymn book. You never know. Good find on books! Curious if you’re on Poshmark where you can sell you’re stuff? Rob....not many guys go yard saleing I think it great! You just follow Karen around while she picks stuff. You’re so fun to watch! Oooo on the green plate I ordered a UV light cause I’m looking for that now! Thanks to you getting me hooked. I just got a 5$ Art Deco Czechoslovakian perfume bottle circa 1930 and it’s uranium glass. I brought it into my dealer and he checked it for me. We looked it up and goes for $345! Scorch! So cute Karen asking if the older fella was going to be sad. Another great vlog! Squee in your Uranium collection! Wow!

Karen workws at a small catering shop part time, and Rob works full time for the local telephone company. :) We're TRYING to make KZbin our Fulltime job (well we already work 40 hours a week on KZbin.. so more accurately, we're trying to make it our ONLY job....)

Hi Deb!!! Karen currently only sells locally (no shipping) but if you live in Regina SK or surrounding area, you can follow Karen Baron on the Varage Sale app. We are still working on getting a REAL online store going.... we planned on doing that this year but COVID really cut into our ability to get out and buy things, so it didn't happen. Hopefully with the announcement of vaccines, we can get back to normal for next year, and carry on with our previous plans....
