The carving you describe near the end was also viewed by Lama Rangbar and he sent us some photogrpahs of the unbelievably fine, incredibly beautiful forms that became 'carved" into the shin bone, it is so very previous, I hope you contact Lama Rangbar sometime

I read her book Blessing Power Of The Buddhas. Easy reading and fascinating. She recounts a story about Pegyal Lingpa and I came into His lineage through Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and Sagnak Tulku both direct disciples
