what a choice spot for a dive, I love how there is so much life in the water down here, we were at COLAC bay last week, just loads of Sea food in the water out there.

We're pretty lucky in the south Island, lower population makes for more sustainable marine life. The cooler waters make for tastier fish like Bluecod etc and not as many people brave the cold in winter.

Hi ..like this... Even before id watched it 😂. I moved from gizzy to oamaru 5 yrs ago ..and ive only found 6 kina lol..i dnt go deep ..too chicken lol.. rock hopper

My 2 favourite things from Oamaru are Jersey Bennie potatoes and Kakanui tomotatoes. Have You had a look at Kakanui, I've heard it's good for paua. It's never too late too put on a face mask and snorkel and try diving the shallows You'd be surprised what you'll find in a metre of water.
