It sure is amazing to be the first (R&K) to see a fresh antique estate pick. You guys didn’t sound like kids in a candy store (LOL!). Your hearts stopped several times! You guys would be the first I would invite. Antiques are safe with you guys! That is why we (viewers) watch to see what is next to be added to your museum. I'd be like, "OK back up the truck I'll take it all." LOL Awesome stuff once again! Last time I saw a home like this was in the 80's and an elderly lady who was 102 - who lived in the home since she was born; had a home full of antiques she used and lived with every day. She had furnishings her parents bought out of Dundurn Castle in Hamilton (where she lived). The home was amazing!

OMG...gas was 2.66 a gallon..thought our prices were high. The only negative about living in Canada that I can find. Love your country and you guys. I live in southwestern PA.Have only been to Viagra Calls which is only 5 hours driving time away. Great funds as usual and continuing to learn a lot from Karen on antiques. 👏

TOTALLY AMAZING!!!! The music box is absolutely BREATHTAKING!! That would be the centerpiece of any collection. You also sold some items for great prices, that airplane table was awesome! I would have begged you to sell me those buttons too but you got a good price for those too. I visited the VRI museum in London Ontario it was an amazing place. Oh my gosh. I would have been like a kid in a candy shop. Those mantel clocks are stunning. The music box brought a lump to my throat. The sewing machine is gorgeous. Im an antique clock collector though, so the clocks were the first things I saw. Amazing finds guys. Way to go.

I've run into people who are careful not to reveal, when sourcing, that they are collectors or resellers. This episode illustrates that it pays to get it out there, develop a netword and reap the benefits of gettings tips from that network regarding potential buys. This entire episode was mind boggling..!!! Potato-Fries... I smiled all morning. :-)

The long cord is because back when people hung pictures, the walls were plaster and putting a nail hole in the wall would cause so much damage. So they nailed it into the crown molding

This was EPIC!!! Yes, the music box had to be yours!! LOL, Enjoying the smell of gas, markers, etc must run in the family!! I remember as a preschooler my Mom hauling me out of the wintertime visible exhaust when I was enjoying the smell!! I would just stand there waiting for our car to be ready to go!! LOL.. And no it does/did not lead to any future abuse of any drug!! :-)

I'm so happy for you Karen. I had the same feeling when the music box was playing. I would of wanted to stay there forever. And I get it Karen...its the smell. Lol. My mom has a set of markers that I used to sneak to use when I was a kid. The smell was so strong & it even says on the box " not for kids" Memories😍

I can't NOT comment on that music box! If I can ever afford one, especially the Regina Symphonium Disk Music Box, I will buy it. I've always loved that music boxes are live music being played, and not a recording. Also, my mom used to have one of those shoe horn and posts. It was my dad's. I used to play with it as a kid.

That dining table that is there is the same one I grew up with plus the chairs and buffet table. It is sitting in my garage .in 1970 my parents “antiquet it with the oil based avocado green.. It is a shame, but I would never be able to remove that paint.

What kind of cleaners do you folks use to get that great shine (clocks/cameras, etc)?---At a classy antique shop in Solvang (near where I live) that music box sells in the range of $900-1200, so you got a great deal by California standards!---Enjoyed the road trip, even tho' I never got to see the scenery!!!
