A great idea! Perhaps a greater wool content or a deeper blue dye would have given the results you were looking for. But you did end up with a very pretty yarn. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Thank you! I've actually picked up some red yarn that has a higher wool content to try this experiment with again.

I have 500 grams of wool in a dusty pink that I don't like. I am going to try this with acid dye.
