@Chemknits Does more acid = more color? Or you can get less color by diluting color? I just can't wrap my head around how ratios work with color?? Thanks!❤❤

Love the outcome. I can still see that hint of mint in it, which I think looks nice. Well done.

This was one of the early Leave No Dye Behind videos before I knew that was going to be a thing. :D

It would have been hard to tell that the green was cooled down significantly without having some of the original yarn left behind. It was super exciting for me!

I like it, would love to see it worked up 😁

Me too! I know the person who bought the yarn. :) I'm not sure what her plans are for it but hopefully she'll send me a picture someday.

I really love this effect 💖. Wonder if it would work with Jacquard Silver Gray
@ChemKnitsTutorials3 жыл бұрын
It should work but it would be a lot more subtle.

@@ChemKnitsTutorials TY for replying Rebecca - especially to such an old video! This yarn turned out particularly beautiful, and I had a shawl in mind, but unfortunately, since I somehow missed seeing it, there's no KP Gloss DK in Mint anymore to be found. Love watching all of your vids and livestream events! Have a beautiful day

@@latitude1904 I usually try to look at all new comments (I don't often see replies to comments unless I happen to be on KZbin at the time like right now :D)

Love the color I wonder dyeing uarn. With mustard
@ChemKnitsTutorials6 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't know. Mustard powder might work. I know that people use other spices for dyeing.

Love the color

Guessing there is always the chance of a KP clearance sale on "unpopular" or overstocked colorways for this technique...would the price be less than undyed of the same fiber? Going to keep my eyes open!

Typically when I buy commercial colors for the purposes of dyeing, they're cheaper than the bare counterparts. :D (Unless I want to do an overdyeing video specifically these days)

Me gustaría un poco más del color original, ¿ si pongo menos color negro lo puedo lograr?
@ChemKnitsTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Si! Si pone solo un poco del negro color es possible ver mas del color original. (Lo siento por mi mal espanol! Trato explanar. )
