EP3 Civic Review | Episode 2 | The Daily Driven Honda

We all know Honda's have a huge following and with the release of the last two Civic Type R's Honda has been on a rebound for their enthusiast driven cars. The hatchback has been a staple in the Honda lineup forever the EP3 was one of Honda's cars that just didn't seem to take off at the time with its styling and "weird" shifter position but it's still a Honda, which means its fun to drive.
Now this specific EP3 has gotten what most will refer to as the OEM+ set of modifications, still retaining the original look but with upgraded Honda and aftermarket goodies.

Super clean! I am going to try to get one of these as a commuter, and go old school mods: Intake, headers, ignition kit, and suspension mods on springs. We shall see.

Honestly hard to say… you can look up all the parts listed in video. I wouldn’t be able to give you an amount of how many labor hours since I did all the work also prices can vary with state tax, prices of parts now, I built it back in 2019 before crazy price jump on stuff

But if I was to give a ball park number with new parts, engine, trans, new clutch/flywheel tuned, ecu chip, etc etc etc 10k+ in parts plus when motor was out before swap did all The seals and that alone was $3,500

Yea I feel that too but it came down to cost and strength in a collision. I hear the recent CTRs, FK and FL, use struts. I still think they're real Hondas too. I mean they're still Honda. They still feel well when you're driving them. Even an odyssey is surprising.
