With current leadership. MCA will not survive long. They need re-branding. Total overhaul in top leadership. Why focus on DAP? Why not focus on future with own path and steady steps? Comparing with DAP doesnt change the fact that majority chinese dont support MCA anymore? Whats happening and why it happens? The more you scrutinize DAP, the more common citizens will think this is a kids play attitude rather than proper reaction to the winner? By blaming other party why they win doesnt change people perception on MCA and why they didnt support MCA?. Re-brand MCA. Change top management line up. MCA need total overhaul and rebranding.

MCA has been a great party for Malaysia, not just fought for independence together and help build the economy of this country that is a fact I agree with MCA. But, I also agree with Yi Wei that Malaysia must focus less on race but, more on values, principles and governance. Racial/religion is just for preserving multi-racial fabric and lifestyle of the country, which is important as every race including Chinese will want to defend their identity.

WKS has been the first one hurling criticisms ever since the unity government was formed. MCA with their chauvinistic and egoistical stance since days gone by has been boycotted by the Chinese community and the majority of citizens by large. They never have the people concerns at heart only those that provide benefit to them and vice versa. Anthony's remark about MCA's towkay Cina is spot on because till now certain Chinese Chambers of commerce and Chinese clan associations are largely helm by MCA members/leaders still, that has been ongoing since Merdeka. MCA is not a little bit slighted, it already has its ego bruised and battered!! that question to Anthony Loke and his response actually was his personal opinion why he joined DAP and not MCA, it certainly mirrors the opinion of Malaysian Chinese who oppose MCA. YB Lim's poised answers projects the kind of leadership DAP has compared to MCA. Many a times MCA's tone in questioning within the government was questionable. if there are concerns, then ask in the manner appropriate as a coalition partner.
