The extra stress and mental gymnastics to prep for a wedding include lost sleep while our brains think about "how am I going to shoot that part of the ceremony?" or "How am I going to light that horrible reception hall?". At one point I itemized my packages to "teach" my clients all that went into their package to show editing time, prep, day-of coverage, etc.

As a male wedding photog. I can confirm, most men are mean 😂 I’m always told how surprised how nice and easy I was to work with it’s honestly sad because I’m just being polite. I hate how this isn’t standard.

As a female videographer, I am sorry a lot of men in my industry are like this. In the big facebook groups for videographers, they treat us similarly, constantly belittling women for not knowing something or being extra harsh, but then complain that woman videographers have it easier because we can "win over" couples easier & some couples will seek out female videographers, saying it is sexist against them. Like take a look in the mirror, buddy. It is all your own ego and misogyny.
