Ep6: Trollhattan to Hamburg - Taking our Saab 900 Turbo from the UK to Sweden and back!

Taking our 1987 Saab 900 Turbo to the Saab festival in Trollhattan, Sweden.
We are doing this trip over 12 days with multiple destinations.
In this leg we begin the trip home and travel from Västerlanda, just south of Trollhattan to Hamburg. Also includes a visit to Miniatur Wunderland 🥰
Car Spec;
1987 Saab 900
Originally an 8 valve single carb
Engine swapped to 16 valve turbo
Trionic 5.5 engine management from a '97 9000
Front mount intercooler
Full 3" exhaust
Dyno'd 220hp & 293Nm @ 1.1 bar of boost
9000 front brakes
Converted to rear handbrake
Koni red shocks
1.5" banded stock 900 steel wheels

Great trip guys super impressed by the fuel economy. I must T5.5 my T16 when I get it back on the road which 75 year celebrations are spurring me on to do! Where did you get the cup holders btw?

I didn't 😁 With driving a variety of my own stuff in the UK and with my Uaz being LHD I'm pretty used to adapting every time I get in a car 😄 I've been to the Nurburging 4 or 5 times previously and through Germany for work too.

Thanks. I too was impressed with the economy! Type 8 Primaries and T5.5 go well together! The cupholders are off eBay. I think they were 99p! Good luck getting your 900 on the road!
