Edd, you are the perfect example of actions speak louder than words. I really enjoy these renovation videos and I must say I think out of all the couples your constant, sincere, regard for Anna is most enduring! You don't say it, you just do it. And you do it way too often for it not to be just who you are as a husband. "I wonder what Anna"......that's an action too! The action of Anna always first on your mind. It shows! The little things all added up mean the most! Well done! And your wall is looking good and what a perfect chandelier for that spot. And how did you learn that blowdryer tip?!

The two of you are such a team. Anna is always so kind and supportive with her comments. Edd is always there to do the Jack-of-all-trades element. I know that I am expressing the sentiments of everyone who watches your vlogs … puhleeze do not sell your Passion Project. Rent it on a limited lease say for a couple of years when you can get back on your feet financially post Covid and then move your family into this wonderful home. I hate to see all of the loving details you are installing into this home being transferred to someone else. Easy for me to say but I know we all feel the same way.

Edd, If you are going to put a dimmer switch in, make sure you buy dimmable LED bulbs. The regular ones don't work, they flicker or something. I learnt that, doing renos myself. The bulb section in our Home Depot store is a whole aisle long. It's beyond crazy how many different bulbs there are and how many light fixtures call for just one certain type. Drives me crazy.

That was like a magic trick using the hair dryer on the chair and ottoman. Learned something new today 👩🏫. Chandeliers are beautiful. Yes, the chain covers will add a touch of glamour and hide the wiring. Hope you both can get some much needed rest.

It’s very beautiful in the bedroom. I agree about having a little more chain but have also lived with a ceiling fan too low hanging for safety for those over 5’10! I love when Anna says “Oh you cheeky thing.” I love that Edd is always thinking about what makes Anna and the kids happy and comfortable.

The best way to hide a chain is effectively to make a 'tube' of fabric, maybe to match something or a neutral colour and thread the chain through id before hooking it up. If you make the tube 2.5 times longer than the chain then you can ruche it up. xoxoxo

Yes, the best way to hide the chain is to make a tube of fabric in a complimentary color to the lamp.

Ed that was brilliant idea with the hairdryer. I have black leather furniture and condition with a leather cream once a month to keep it from not drying out. I just parted with two antique Marcel Brewer chairs because of the white, wish I had known about the hairdryer. The bedroom is looking lovely.

I am compelled to say it again- you two are adorable! Regarding the replica Eames chair- if it is leather, though you may have some mildew that you were able to remove with the heat of the hair drier, you should condition the leather to prevent it drying out and to protect it. Also, on new leather, sometimes the natural tallow comes to the surface of a new leather piece and needs a light cleaning and conditioner with a leather specific product. If it isn't leather, then disregard my thoughts on the subject. I am in awe of how much you both accomplish in a day!

Good call the dimmer switch, it will make a difference. The air filter system is interesting, I hadn’t seen one like that before. Bringing clean air into the house or filtering the air is a good thing. If you don’t have carbon monoxide detectors better get some, I recently had an issue at my home and could of killed me and my dog! Keep the videos coming, love this place! Cheers Kirk

Hi Ed and Anna, When you are sure the chair is dry should you treat it with a leather treatment, Here in Australia I use a brand called Dubbin which is basically rendered tallow it has kept many things well conditioned like leather handbags and my walking boots. It is clear so does not effect the colour of the leather, it stops from going hard and brittle .
