I love how ya'll do plastering over there. Here in the US they do gypsum board and just tape and mud the seams... recently some are adding a skim coat but it's nothing compared to your plastering.

Most house in the US before drywall were lathe and plaster too. I have a house built in 1906. Lathe n plaster everywhere except in the kitchen and bath. When we renovated we went ahead and added some insulation and new drywall. If I could have I would’ve preferred keeping the lathe n plaster. No paper to get moldy. 😉
