Constantly moving can be exhausting so this week we take a week to unwind at a girlfriend's farm and indulge in more than a few Creemees.

Loved the visit in Vermont. The nursery was beautiful and educational. I live in northeast Georgia and we have quite a display of dogwoods in the spring…I love driving up in the mountains and see them blooming in the woods before the leaves pop out on the other trees. The dogwood you pointed out is a white Kousa. It’s a disease resistant type of dogwood ! Learn something new every day! Thanks.

Beautiful and pastoral country, not to mention, connecting oneself to the land and animals. Your Dr Doolittle friend is a gem caring for these animals with such love & compassion. You both look happy contributing to the farm maintenance activities; a great break from trekking down the roads.

What a beautiful place to restore your soul 💗 When I was younger, we had all sorts of animals, it's definitely a lot of work, but very rewarding. My mom would always say we had a red cross on top of our house (roof) 😊 that's how we always ended up, taking care of so many. You have a very special friend 💕 not everyone can give so freely. Side note here ...The defibrillator is awesome, having one especially being so rural is key on a successful outcome, especially if it's a real heart attack. You can also, give an aspirin if you think the person is in the initial stages of a heart attack. You can also carry a CPR mouth guard if you ever find yourself initiating CPR. Sorry for the long message 😊 I found myself in an emergency today, and I had remembered you stating John's heart 💗 blessings, Yvonne🥰

Thank you for the trip to VT. Your friend has a beautiful farm and a kind heart caring for the rescue animals. Caring for them is a lot of work. I grew up in NH but never spent time in VT. As always I enjoyed the adventure and loved the care of the animals. I am treating my feral who has been sick and getting antibiotics into her, albeit a bit hard as I know nothing about cats. She has gotten better and she love Bridger, my Golden. Buy a defibrillator and John can write it off, have the same one for decades. Well worth it.

Thanks for a wonderful video of Vermont. Reminded me of my travel days in New England overseeing Toyota dealers there for eight years and loving every minute of it. Even all five seasons and yes there are five of them. Mud being one of’em😂😂😂 PS: On June 2nd we were drove through Chris Flat campground and the road had completely collapsed with a 30 foot gap. Incredible what the force of water can do. I tried to add photo of the road but it doesn’t let me paste. Be safe Laurie and Denise from Surf City

We drove through a week ago and the road was repaired but the campground was closed. The river was raging.

Adding Vermont to our fall travel to NE. Wish I knew Dr Doolittle, would love to live on those shires and do some barn chores (we used to have a small farm). Bless her for doing what she does. Looked up defibrillator and some can’t be had unless for training or if you have a medical license. I had a massive heart attack in 2007 and it would be good to have when traveling…just in case. Would also like that red light she was using on the mini as well as John using it. Lots of aches and pains in this house! Wonder if you have a link to it? Thanks for making videos. We really love your style, the humor you and John bring, and the places you take us. My husband loves them for the pace and music. 😊

@@FromShetoMe Due to dairy sensitivity, I don’t really need a Creemes, but the town looked like a great place to explore! I’m trying to figure out your diet…are you vegetarian and John is not? How you eat the scrumptious sweets you do, and stay so physically healthy is enviable! Love your videos! You do a great job editing! We hope to do the Maritimes next year as you did.

@@rmpenning7541 Yes, I’m a vegetarian., John is not. Portion control, exercise, and we only eat things like creemes when we are on the road and then it’s mostly a summer treat.
