In April 1985, I told my mom I was going to see Hall and Oats, like third row, and she said, “who are the Hollow Notes?” 😂😂. I played a song on my stereo and THEN she was jealous and wanted to go. 😂😂. Watching that show I became a huge fan of Mr. Hall and my respect and admiration has only grown over the last four decades. My god what a gift this man is! And to get to see these videos of him honoring others and just doing a jam session with them is amazing. Lord, please let him get younger and let him stay with us many more years!!!

The universally known truth, Daryl Hall is a musical genius, and only sings with singers of his own magnitude.

His future is so bright he has to wear shades. They are on a set with massive lighting.
@KyleCourounis11 ай бұрын
He's never confirmed that this is why, but I have always suspected it's because Daryl has had lyme disease for the last 15-16 years. If you notice, he didn't wear them for the first few seasons, but then he always did. Lyme can sometimes come with a degenerative eye condition that increases photosensitivity. In environments like a concert or a show set with bright lighting, it makes sense he'd wear them. He's always said drugs were never his or John's thing, even back in the day--they fucked up his nervous system too much to enjoy them, so he never got into coke or anything.

stop separating the videos out of order!! you guys are ruining this channel
@flyingfluffyhockey11 ай бұрын
blame the YT algorithm. Shorter clips will get significantly more views than putting it all into one show. I get the frustration as many creators feel the same way, but far and away the best way to ensure that these videos reach new people is to put them into clips like they are doing. Just my opinion after 7 years making videos myself.
