On 2010 VW Jetta 2.5, Had p0106 and replaced with DORMAN 917-064 kit, and Bosch Map sensor. Cleaned the throttle Body carefully. Now after that I got P2187, P0106, P0300, P0301, 2, 4 after two days of driving. I see engine RPM were erratic. Check all hoses connections and looks fine. I reset the cods and is waiting what happens in two days. Any Idea why did these Lean Mix cause when we changed only two parts?

Probably the computer has to adjust settings. It could be that it will autocalibrate

I tried to clean the MAF sensor but I didn’t find it. I have a 2008 and 2013 jetta both with same engine but I noticed the 2013 don’t have the MAF sensor in same the place that 2008 .. I see your car is like mine, do you know where is located the MAF sensor?? I already clean MAP sensor, throttle body and replace diaphragm cover..

Mine is 2012 and don't have MAF sensor

You M.A.P sensor is behind your throttle body. I dont know if that's what your referring to by the MAF sensor. But you'd have to remove the throttle body to get to it.

If you have a MAF sensor its the thing bolted to the engine cove/ air cleaner. The MAP sensor is behing the throttle body. some 2.5s dont have a MAF.

I replaced the MAP sensor just few weeks before I did the diaphram

Got it. Thanks. And I dont know if you knew but you can buy sensor cleaner to clean out the sensor and see if it still functions. But if you replaced it then I wouldn't worry about it. Thanks! I currently have the same problem. Engine running rich.

Don’t know if you still reply. I have a p2187prob too. I was wondering if i replace the pcv, will the MIL light disappear automatically or I need to use computer to erase it?

If the pcv was the problem, the light will go away
