Ernesto, when I was a young man working my first job as a lawyer in Miami, I had the privilege of meeting you. You handed me a cigar in your charming and gracious way, and I enjoyed it that night. Since then, your superb smokes have been a staple in my humidor. Thank you for the cigar, these videos and everything you have done for this craft. All the best!

Just the fact that Mr Carrillo makes time to communicate to regular people on social media and values feedback shows you the type of humble man he is. I'm an even bigger fan now and I have loved his cigars!

Great video, just received a bx of new wave coronas. I'm smoking one and letting the rest chill for a while.
@EthanReviews1232 жыл бұрын
@David M I have only tried the corona size, of which I have a box, but I like them very much as morning and mid day cigars. I think with a year or two only they will only get better.

New to the channel. Been smoking over a year now, and just came across some of your work with ANASTASIA with Caldwell, and I must say, WOW. Just had a 5er and the other day bought a box. Now I am looking more at your lines, and looking at trying all your stuff out. Hope to see more videos. Much love from Canada.

It’s comments like these that inspire me. Thanks again and let us know what you think about Pledge.
Great tips. I have a question about how to keep Natural & Maduros. Do they require different temp/hum of their own, or it's just to keep them separately because of their aromas? Can I keep everything at 65%Hum 70Temp (Since I have only one humidor) & then a week before smoking the cigar, I move it to a smaller sealed pack with humidity packs proper for that kind of cigar? Like 65 or 69%?

Mr. Carrillo, im still a novice in the cigar world, what id like to find is a box of variety... a starter box, in which each cigar has a label giving instruction in the cigar world. As a novice, its dissappointing to spend any money on cigars (at the store) only to find they are all over priced garbage, and have no idea what to buy, what wrapper to look for, length, shape.

Hi Ernesto, Love the encore majestic! Definitely my favorite cigar. With all these new types of humidors coming out(acrylic) do you see them better, worse, same as old faithful cedar humidors?
@EPCarrilloCigars4 жыл бұрын
I like wood, better since they control the humidity of the cigar itself better acrylic can be used also but would keep for Conn shade cigars or to Revive very old cigars that are dry - Ernesto Perez-Carrillo
@mike2129162 жыл бұрын
@@EPCarrilloCigars That's interesting because acrylic containers hold humidity the best so I would assume it would hold humidity inside the cigar the best.

Is it better to keep your cigars in the plastic wrapper or do you expose the cigar to the humidor?

Don Ernesto I had one more question. I love your cigars and buy the same ones all the time. If I know I love a box and buy multiple boxes. Do I need to take the plastic wrapper off of the box? Or just set it with the wrapper on the box in my coolador. This is more of a box question and what to do with it being wrapped vrs unwrapped. Also thank you for the correct numbers on storing your cigars and Connecticuts.
@EPCarrilloCigars3 жыл бұрын
We think you don’t have to take the plastic off. It’s fine to leave it on. Thanks for writing.

Great video. In our Canadian climate the change of seasons can be a challenge when trying to keep humidity levels consistent. In the winter the air can be quite dry. Any suggestions?
@EPCarrilloCigars4 жыл бұрын
True the winter can be rough on your cigars. First one needs to make sure that the humidor or storage device has a tight seal to keep the humidity inside the humidor. Second one needs to check the humidity level in the humidor more often to make sure the Rh is at the proper level and I would raise the requirement if it’s extra dry in the outside environment. If normally I want a 70% Rh and to get that I need one humidification device I would see if in the winter I need 2 to keep 70% Rh. Another option, which I did when I lived in a climate that had a dry winter, was I actually moved all my humidors to one room and humidified the whole room all winter long. You do not need to get a 70% Rh in the room but a higher Rh than the normal winter dry air helps. A good full room humidifier will do the trick. Why this works is because the relative Rh in the humidor, compared to the room’s Rh that the humidor is in, becomes closer and this leads to less humidity leakage from the humidor.
@diversaurous2 жыл бұрын
Moving the humidors into one room and just humidifying that room is brilliant idea. Gracias por todo
@mashtea8183 жыл бұрын
Hello Don Ernesto, thank you for your knowledge. I love La Historia E-III and wanted to know should we keep the cigars in the box or take out and put in the humidor as singles?
@EPCarrilloCigars3 жыл бұрын
The best way to age them is to remove the cellophane and keep them in the humidor. If you will be carrying some with you to smoke soon, it’s ok to keep the cellophane on. But, for aging, it’s best to remove the cellophane and take out of box.
@diversaurous2 жыл бұрын
Hola señor Carrillo, Does that recommendation to remove the cellophane for aging purposes apply to Nicaraguan, Dominican and Cuban cigars?
