Nice walk around never realized so many walls are up, I always get engulfed with the views. 😊

Thank you for the updates. It will be nice to have at least at week without any construction walls at Epcot.

I remember in 4th grade (in the 90’s) our class came to Epcot to paint Lion King murals on the construction walls. Our teacher was also a CM so I guess he arranged it. Stark difference to the all black walls - I can’t imagine Disney letting a local elementary school come and do that now!

When the walls first went up there was some decoration, which I thought was. . . ok. . . but much better than just black. I think now they are just trying to get the job done so they aren't taking the time to decorate the walls like they did at the beginning. Especially now that they are moving around a lot.

This is a great walk-around, way-finding video. As someone who loves EPCOT and used to feel I could find my way with no problem, these recent changes are so confusing. I hope I live long enough to see the day when all the walls are gone. Maybe someone from Universal needs to take over these projects. They seem to have made incredible progress in a short time.

Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed the walk around. The walls have definitely made it a bit more confusing to get around, but once they are done I think it's going to be an easy space to navigate and move through. . . . it's just a matter of getting to that time. Universal versus Disney is always a tricky comparison, in my opinion, 'cause in many ways it's apples to oranges. I think that with what Disney removed [including the fountain of nations] and some of the hurtles that they ran into along the way [some I speculate they're still dealing with], it's drawn things out. Even so you'd think that they'd be able to pick up speed. . . then again maybe it's a matter of projects piling up. . . . who knows. We'll see what happens! Thanks for your comment and joining us for this walk around!

Think they will have everything opened up before flower and garden?
@2foolishmortals11 ай бұрын
My best guess would be no. Flower and Garden is starting February 28th this year, which is right around the corner, and there's still a lot to be done. Even outside the walls, there's markings on the ground leading me to believe that they'll be replacing a lot more concrete and it's pretty chewed up behind those construction walls. . . not to mention the work that still needs to be done on the buildings themselves. If it does wrap up in that amount of time, I think it will be a miracle.

@@2foolishmortals really a shame it’s taking this long to finish. Epcot is such a cool park, that now seems like permanent construction zone
@2foolishmortals11 ай бұрын
@@hasenmyer I agree. I mean, there were definitely hurtles along the way BUT at some point you'd think that they'd be able to get chugging again and pump this out.
