23:14 I did the "Behind the Seeds" Tour on my last trip and we found out that yes a lot of the food from The Land is served throughout Disneyworld, but that you need to look for menu items that mention the land. The tour guide said that if you see something like "The Land Salad," it means that you're eating lettuce and other veggies grown in the Land. Same applies with the fish that is in the tanks.

David, yes, the fish provide fertilizer for the plants and the plants help clean the water, it’s called aquaponics. My brother-in-law has a small setup in his apartment. Very scalable. I imagine they grow some of the food for guests, but only on select menu items and I’m sure they don’t disclose which ones.

Cosmic Rewind is like the next evolution of Hyperspace Mountain. Like Space is the basis for indoor coasters, and Hyperspace adds music and screens, and now Cosmic Rewind goes a step further by adding rotation along a y-axis.

So fun to see your joy in discovering the delights of Epcot. I went to Disneyland for the first time in October and I'm sure despite my research, I missed a lot. Watching your travels in Epcot, I wanted to be your tour guide. It's still a special place despite all the changes. Boy, was it great in the 80s.

Yes those gondolas at the Italy pavilion were used years ago as an attraction somewhat as the canoes are at Disneyland except that only. the gondola guide paddled while you sat in the seats. And the Regal Eagle BBQ is surprisingly good and more akin to central Texas style.

David, in one sentence you say you are a history buff, but the next sentence is totally wrong! NO! The “Two Bothers” scene was originally at American Adventure going back to the opening in 1982 - It was put into Lincoln many years later! (As was the music from the old “America the Beautiful” Circlevision movie.) And the Hall of Presidents in MK is more like Lincoln only with all the presidents.

Welcome to Japan Taiko drums In Japanese, the term taiko refers to any kind of drum, but outside Japan, it is used specifically to refer to any of the various Japanese drums called wadaiko (和太鼓, lit. 'Japanese drums') and to the form of ensemble taiko drumming more specifically called kumi-daiko (組太鼓, lit. 'set of drums').

David, have you tried the SeaBands for the rides? They seem to help Kitra a lot. AstroBoy is Manga, which is Japanese. Seeing Duffy and all his friends sitton on the bed was awesome. It's rare that you see them outside Japan, but they are starting to infiltrate other Disney parks. Olu Mel the turtle is quite prominent in Aulani.

I guess it was 10-12 years ago, they were pushing Duffy in Epcot - the gift shop on the world showcase lagoon before you get to Mexico was all Duffy! Cute but not for me. I don't know if they'll try again, they seem to have decided to try smaller, more collectible things since.

23:03 David, I have a home Aquaponics system and yes it is very true. My Water is crystal clear and plants filter the water. I have regular earth worms in a clay pellet medium that helps break down old roots and other solid material that are from the fish. My output is Fish, Vegetables, and fish waste that I use as fertilizer for my trees. I live in a normal residential track and anyone can do it if you wanted.

FreshBaked. David, A great day at and in EPCOT. Amazing to think this whole park was imagined and built by the original Imagineers. World Showcase is just a brilliant mix of styles. The Japanese Gardens, was that filmed in your backyard in L.A.? If you had written to WDW's Hoticulturel Dept. in the mid 1980's they would send you 2 pamphlets, 1, on creating your own Bonzai Tree and 2, building your own small Japanese Garden. I find the biggest problem with "Cosmic Rewind" is the end of the ride is like entering a subway station. No Guardians atmosphere at all. Cheers, Chris Perry.

The American Adventure didn't borrow Two Brothers & Golden Dream from Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln borrowed them from The American Adventure. American Adventure has been open since 1982, both songs/segments were added to Great Moments in 1984 - (The tip off to this is the fact that American Adventure has supporting animatronics of the brothers & family, wheras the Disneyland segment is all video - Because the segment was designed for the Epcot attraction then just brought over without the Animatronics to Disneyland) The more you know, lol. PS. Yeah you walked past about 3 or 4 WAY better food options before settling on like... the worst restaurant in the Japan Pavilion, I'm sorry to tell you, haha.

German: Küche means kitchen, and there's no sound in English that correspond to ü. But if you say "koo-kuh" or "koo-shuh", you'll be close enough. But it's definitely not "cooch". Japanese: Kawaii is pronounced "kah-wah-ee" and means cute. You kept saying "ko-why", which sounds like the word kowai which means scary or frightening. So you were saying "Japan's scary culture". 😅 Bonsai is the word for sculpted miniature living trees, and is pronounced like "bone sigh". You said banzai, which is more or less the Japanese equivalent of hooray. Congratulations on shishi-odoshi. You nailed that.
