Bath fan here. Well done to Leinster, but I’ve got to say I’m proud of the way we took the game to Leinster. They are an established European heavyweight and practically an international team. I’m not going down the ref ruined the game route, but the Leinster tighthead was angling in on every scrum. No way Obano should have been off for that.

For all the incoming “ref ruined the game” comments, you need to simply grow up. The truth is Bath started unbelievably well and put Leinster on the back foot. Calls went both way and both sets of supporters are gonna have biased opinions. Leinster ended up getting the win because they are simply better then Bath. Obano made direct head contact and then continuously made scrummaging infringements which is more then sufficient evidence for a second yellow. Are we gonna just keep on letting the scrums collapse and slow down the game? No. Leinster are better then bath so just be happy it was a good game of rugby and shut up about the ref as the ref wasn’t the one who let in 47 points for bath.
