@ I agree Fin Smith would be good too but I just think Marcus has more of the X factor and with Marcus he thrives with a ball carrying 12, which he doesn’t have at quins and Ojomoh fits that bill as well as being creative to allow Marcus to move around and be free, but let’s be honest doesn’t matter who is picked they’ll be made to kick everything away by Borthwick 😂

This may sound odd but I feel refs/rfu are hiding behind rules rather than using them. By the letter of the law, yes ok its a card but that was not a heavy tackle and he didn't lean in with the shoulder. That was not a red card in a million years. Reds should be reserved for the worst offenses.

By the checklist that has replaced proper refereeing it was a red. Prior to this nonsense the ref would have taken into account intention and given a yellow at worst.

Can anyone explain although the game was gone for Clermont....why did the ref not call a penalty against Bath for ruck infringement? Games gone but if that was a close game with the call not made, would hate to see the headlines the next morning.

Clermont can feel aggrieved with that call at the end, as Bath clearly played the ball on the ground and held on for too long. They could have at least nicked a bonus point.

I'd argue the pass only went wrong in the first place because Clermont players were offside/lazy runners. That would have been the first penalty

Hopefully he will improve as he gets more experience, but I'm never that impressed by Adams as a referee. He's not very consistent.
