Honestly as someone who's trying to figure out how to make their own RPG, I would play this nonexistent game in a HEARTBEAT. The locations and characters are all brimming with personality, and it's impressive how the trailer shows off a clear plot! The Renaissance flair is fresh and I know I'm repeating myself but I cannot emphasize how charming this is! Hope you have a great day!

Man, I have so many questions now that can't be answered since it's not an actual-factual game yet. I even went into this knowing it wasn't a game and still managed to get hooked. The targeting system for combat, the in battle minigames, the really interesting emotions in the cutscenes. I am a sucker for somewhat faceless characters expressing through body language, and this kept pushing that button like someone waiting for an elevator. MAN I wish this was a thing. I will just have to hope that it becomes a reality in the future

There is one flaw gives it away for being fake, and that is how good it is The variety in scenes is so insanely diverse I think an actual dev team would either lose their minds or just be in development hell for a decade, Congratulations, you have done TOO DANG WELL

You did such an AMAZING job with that for your course. Judging by the input style, I imagined it was being played using a game controller. The UI being entirely in French (which I presume is your native language) reminded me of games that were only officially released in Japan and with Japanese as the only available UI language option. It's reminding me of some ideas I had, one of which was to create concept art for an indie video game idea I came up with and work on as a side project. I haven't come up with any ideas for what any of the characters would look like, nor the setting or anything else visual (besides some vague images in my mind), but I hope to do so and start creating concept art. I believe I came up with the idea for the game when I saw myself playing it in a dream I had after watching an old Larry Bundy Jr "Fact Hunt" video. I could do a fake game trailer for that idea, but for me it would be harder as I plan to use some form of CGI as that would theoretically be the best way I can make the art style I want happen on current technology.

Hold on, turn based combat where you target your attacks to influence damage weaknesses and crit chance? That’s a great mechanic. It’s already been done by monster hunter stories, but that’s more a hold over from monster hunter as a whole. This would be a great spice to a charming pixel art game like this

My review of this game: 4/10. The graphics are standard "indie game pixel art," the humor was worth a nasal exhale at best and full-on cringeworthy at worst (Mistral in particular was an absolute chore to get through), the gameplay's incessantly switching styles made it hard to focus on the core of the concept and the soundtrack was rather generic. Just another WarioWare clone with an overworld. I'll pass.
