@@bigbearfencing Question about this one, so is it Cannone's intention here to set up a false attack just outside of his own distance to draw a reaction from Yamada to step inside Cannone's distance?

​@@robertbonomo1389. Likely so, we can't know for sure what he was thinking, we can only interpret what happened. My guess is neither of them felt comfortable commiting to a deep target (body) They were likely working off of the same strategy, throwing out false actions to draw some sort of reaction, then punishing it. What Cannone does very well is also pushing hit opponent to the end of the strip. Once Yamada is pinned, he will be under much more pressure and much more likely to react to the fake.

Thanks. One of my goals is to use slightly on point thumbnails to motivate these guys to reach out. So far it has been to limited success. (But I like to think the down votes on my Borel gets hit video are from Yannick Borel himself)

I'm still confused, what did he set the distance for? To me it just seems like he was faster and already mid lunge when Yamada started his counter attack
