I bought Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k for a singular purpose.

DISCLAMER:
Blackmagic camera I'm demonstrating the procedure on is used for spare parts. When tinkering with sensor stack/assembly you need:
- clean room
- latex gloves
- proper tools and a lot of patience

You should put a neutral glass as i did to avoid exposing the sensor!

How was post processing, are there any differences or something to keep in mind?

White balance, swap color channels RED/BLUE for example, pick a color to accentuate and selectevly change hue/saturation. All done in Davinci Resolve.

Gladly but i took the glass out of an old filter for a super 8mm film camera. I'd advise you to measure the diameter of the IR cut filter in the camera and buy an appropriate size nd/uv filter, remove the metal frame and pop it in the camera 👍

Hey! Have you tried this at night iluminating with IR lights? I would like to see the results and textures of it as I am considering it myself for a project. If anyone has done anything like it Id love to see it. Thanks!!

Hey, I haven't but i've seen people do it with old camcoders. The result would be something like "The Blair Witch Project" but in 4k RAW.

what microphone do you use?

Zoom h2n, but in reality any decent mic will do. Just be sure to check the levels before recording and do basic EQ in your NLE 👍

I happened to have the exact size ND lying around, but you could order appropriately sized nd and take off the plastic rim to fit it inside 👌

I didn't buy mine, just happened to have a small ND filter which i popped in instead of IR cut. Check the IR cut diameter and order a couple of nd2 filters on ebay, take off the plastic rim and pop in the glass. It's a hacky process, but not expensive at all.
