I had a theory-craft of "Wizards" (aka "worse humans") that was in Jeskai colours and made use of Harmonic Prodigy to get extra value from things like Reflector Mage and Meddling Mage etc. Ephemerate might fit quite nicely in there.

Love the idea!! if you want to play ephemerate and disrupt your opponent game at the same time maybe unsettled mariner is a better option than Thalia (Maybe few Thalia's in the bench for Murktide ). Thalia is my favourite card, but it is a nombo with ephemerate but also with lavinia against cascade.... Captain-Ranger of Eos or Elite Spellbinder can be good targets for ephemerate as well

I'd still rather have TNN because a) it's a merfolk and b) its protection isn't partial. And I pulled the trigger on a copy of the Hildebrandt Force this morning when it dropped under $70. Hope it doesn't fall much further...

@@NikachuMTGLive I imagine not having access to some of the great blue white humans would suck. I was messing with a deck like this but played fiend hunter because it's one of my favorite humans and it reminds me of Bloodborne. I was kinda trying to play a deck of all Bloodborne like humans.

Snapcaster is for a spell heavy deck. This is dominantly creatures. That's why the original Humans didn't run Snapcaster.
