I remember the Western Scottish and Easten Scottish coaches when i travelled to Scotland a lot in the 1970s. They were great coaches and comfortable too.

My fiance & I traveled from London Victoria to Aberdeen & return ,late January . Continued by local bus to Ballater. On thing on way back a man was coughing everywhere , luckily we wore masks.

I have used this service in the other direction , flixbus have an option to book the seat nextt you which I did

Hi Tim, not sure what the context of your comment is? You will need to book/pay for a seat if you want to travel, I don’t think I mentioned anything about a travel card?

@@MacBlogs I mean, by Young Scott card you can travel for free in Scotland. On FlixBus it's free for me, since I have this card🙂.

do you think it is safe for girls to take the midnight bus alone? I am travelling to UK and i am tight on time, so i am thinking taking 12AM-8AM bus from London to Edinburgh so i have more time for sight seeing and can visit both places. Thank you!

Hi Zoe, I never experienced anything that would of been unsafe, but with any solo travel it’s important to always be aware of your surroundings, but I am sure you will be ok 😃. Possibly look at a flight, you can get good prices sometimes for a flight from London City Airport to Edinburgh or Glasgow, and Back, just an hour flight ✈️ have an amazing time on your visit, hope that helps 🙌

Did many people get on at the intermediate stops? The reason I ask is that I am getting the 594 from Glasgow to Golders Green on National Express. By that time, direct National Express from Glasgow and from Edinburgh will have left as well as Flixbus and Megabus. I’m hoping that it won’t be too busy as everyone will hopefully be well on their way. 🤞🏻

There wasn’t many folk coming off and on to be fair on my trip, I’d say my bus was initially half full (or half empty lol), with some of the stops having some folk going off and on. On reflection on my trip the pst week it was a decent trip, had some folk on the phone and playing videos without headphones for short periods but apart from that was decent. @@MacBlogs thank you. I have ear defenders and an eye mask as I’m hoping to get a sleep after midnight. Hopefully get a seat to myself but it depends on how many people get on at Edinburgh when the coach initially sets off 🤭🤭

I took the 594 from Edinburgh the London last week. It stopped at Heathrow airport only, for a Friday night the coach was two thirds full.

I can’t remember it stopping long enough to go and have lunch, better to be prepared and have food and drink with you 😬👍
