And Last time I went back to that Hotel from 1904. The lift itself had been modernized, but not the other lift that doesn't go down to the garage. The lift to the garage itself was also modernized.

Pretty small cab with a chique interiour. I wonder if this building originally had an elevator when it was built. Nowerdays installing a lift in such a small shaft space is difficult because there is no room for automatic doors. They would install a platform lift such case. The stairs have what looks like a granito like appearance. Granito was very populair in netherlands in the 1930's and has it's origins in italy. Granito is a decorative "concrete" screed that is washed out and then polished to get that green coloured appearance.
